The term GekokujŠ(下剋上) is a Japanese phrase that means "The low overcomes the high" or "The servant overthrows the master", stemming from the Sengoku/Warring States period in Japan.
Our guild stone is conveniently located just north of the Dunbarton Moon Gate.
If you are interested in joining, we'll ask you some questions so I can know what kind of person will be joining us. While we do not have a hard level cap, we do recommend that you be 300 total level, or have a gold combat talent. This is so that we don't have people who are unable or unwilling to participate in missions and other content.
1: Do you have Skype? We do NOT use the ingame guild chat very often, so Skype is required. If you have issues with Skype (makes your Mabi lag, etc) then we'll help in any way we can.
2: Are you a talkative person, especially in groups? We encourage people to be chatty and talkative in order to [S]blow up your computer/mobile[/S] engender closeness and bonding.
3: What are your interests outside of Mabinogi? This is important to know what you like to talk about, we do lots of things outside Mabi (for example, many of our members, including myself, play League of Legends) and in general, we'll all mostly weeaboos.
4: How active are you? We like to know when we can expect to have you around so we can get to know you.
As with all guilds, we have a set of very important rules that members are expected to follow, hopefully they're not too onerous.
1: Respect others, both within and without the guild, in guild chat and Skype chat and in public. Even if you behave within the guild, any complaints from other players outside the guild or on public forums will be acted upon. In particular, behaviors such as harassment, unwanted pranks, and other anti-social behavior will be taken very seriously. If you wanna mess with people for fun, fine, but once they say stop, stop.
2: Fraud - hacking, scamming and the like, is strictly prohibited. If even one instance of this behavior can be provably linked to you, you will be expelled with no opportunity for return.
3: We have a 2 week inactivity limit - inactivity is defined as not participating in the game OR the Skype chat room. Furthermore, simply logging in to reset the "last logged in" counter does NOT count as "activity". We want everyone to be active and social and welcoming, because that's what the guild is about.
4: In the case of disputes between guild members, we expect that members turn to the seniors, officer and leader for mediation, and work with both the other party and the mediator to seek a good-faith conclusion. Furthermore, we expect honesty in how events are relayed because we will investigate, and lying may lead to expulsion, depending on the circumstance.
Thank you for reading this thread and we hope to see you soon.
