Does Chef's touch count as dual-wielding for elves? or does it work like Control bars/one-handed weapons?
Despite the appearance of the weapon, it is not considered dual wielding in any mechanical terms. it is considered a two handed weapon (the strongest elves can use thus far) and benefits from sword mastery. The better of the two is identical to a dragon fang in every way except in that it cannot be special upgraded (and Elves can equip this, but not dragon fangs). It's just a fancy dragon fang.

I never quite understood why they capped it unless it was to prevent players from gaining insane amounts of stats for more damage but even then we already have pretty op damage
Back in the day there was a famous archer in Ruairi who was known for reaching the 999 dex cap through only the usage of uncooked food, he stopped rebirthing completely because he became as OP as they get (at the time). There is always that potential. (For those of you that don't know how food works, uncooked food slowly and gradually adds stats to you that are permanent until you rebirth. Meaning logging off, waiting hours, you keep the extra stats you gain from them.)

It really is though. It was made to make food better. Just like the tower cylinder is there to make alchemy stronger. Down the line, what happened? *shield bashes the tower cylinder out of the way* Guard Cylinder. Was the Tower cylinder touched at all by the new content? NO. It was completely forgotten. What's about to happen to food seasoning?
So to me, it is old content. Because along with almost all the other old content, it's been forgotten for now.
I couldn't agree more. It does seem really counterproductive. I was really pissed when I found out, which is why I made
