So standing up for the people is a bad thing now apparently.
What a sad world we live in. Oh well, all the more reason never to touch Verizon again.

Too bad it's the only decent phone company in the US. AT&T is the only company that even comes close to competing, and you have to stand on one leg on your roof with an antenna in one hand and your phone in the other to get a decent signal with AT&T.

Pretty much this.

This x20. The other phone companies really shine when you're near more populated areas in my experience, but where I live Verizon is the only thing that gets a decent signal. I would like to be able to make a phone call if I have car troubles or other problems.

This is why I love Canada, Rogers, Bell, Telus... love it.

This topic's title is kinda misleading. When I saw it I thought, "oh well, idgaf."
But then I saw they were actually attacking other companies for their policies rather than just having an opinion on what they would do. That kinda brings it to a new level.

Everyone should jump on the T-mobile bandwagon, after all if you really have a problem with it, reflect that with your dollar.
Also I've never had a problem with T-mobile coverage. Then again I don't obsess about having faster data speeds than my home internet everywhere I go. T-mobile 2G is about as fast as Verizon's 3G and there is very few places I don't get a signal, so...

Hilarious because where i work, Verizon has almost no coverage (1-3 bars). while AT&T has full bars everywhere here.

Everyone should just live in the 90s and not have a phone like myself and the rest of the technologically inept ancient cavemen of the world. Fuck information anyway. Maps? Who needs maps?
I think the only group with the capacity and desire to kick their asses is Google, if their internet service is any indication. Thankfully, for such a huge corporation, it's generally got its morals in the right place. It's not perfect, but for its size, it's pretty much as good as it's going to reasonably get and we should be happy it's them and not some other group.

T-mobile doesn't work in my home town so I'm practically without a phone when I'm home and if my employers need to call me, I'd rather they not call the home phone for various reason >.>
My first contact was with T-mobile and I hated it. Plus, my entire family uses Verizon so meh, just easier to keep with that so I can easily keep in touch with them.

Where do you live and was this more than three years ago (i.e. when T-mobile got AT&T bandwidth and nearly doubled their coverage and signal strength)

This was one to two years ago. I get 0-1 Bars in my hometown in Northern New York with T-mobile. I grew up in a very rural area mind you. I had to walk down the street just to get a semi good signal and it kept cutting in and out. It was really terrible.

For me, it's either Verizon or Cablevision. Verizon is the shinier of two turds so...
My family had Cablevision for around 15 years, but their customer service is ass and for a while their speeds were slower than advertised, even in a small suburban area where I doubt the local bandwidth could be that strained. Verizon is much cheaper and the service is way better as well. Phone and internet are both much much better than Cablevision's PoS service.

Down in my home-town, I never got anything higher than 3 bars for AT&T because the city wasn't willing to sell AT&T property to set up an antenna in our area. Now that I'm at college, I get even less to none at all. Wonderful.
