Edmonton woman finds the words 'You Retard' under bottle cap
[Image: http://i.imgur.com/vShByCc.jpg]
An Edmonton woman who found the words 'You Retard' under a bottle cap received an apology from Coca-Cola. The words were part of a promotion randomly pairing English and French words. 'Retard' means late in French. (Facebook)

LOL! Well I give them points for at least trying to be creative, even if the execution was poor. Also they say slim chance, but when you are producing millions of things that slim chance starts to become not so slim.
Well hopefully they learned to be more careful about things like this in the future to avoid alienating their consumers.

Haha, that's amazing. But maybe they should remove some of the words they're using.

Honestly, they should.
Somebody had to go and insert all those words into a machine that prints them out. They should hold the employee who did it responsible for this mishap.

I don't blame whoever thought of this idea, to be honest.
Language difference problems always come to light when things like these happen.
It's like when you're having a chat in english with someone, with a Portuguese person and want to type "Put a" at the start of a sentence.
Instead you miss the spacebar, it becomes "Puta", and hit enter instead of backspace. you have now offended the person.
Or when for example, the way a lot of people have turned "lol" into "lul", seem to forget that "lul" is Dutch for "dick".
People get offended so easily nowadays.
