Monster Hunter?
- Choose a class, basically choosing your weapon.
- Hunt in missions and each mission you complete rack up points which can be used to unlock higher tier missions.
- 4 players can run a mission (which basically is a hunt for EXP and monster drops after you've played for a while). Missions are also timed.
- Gathering materials to craft new and better items/equipments.
- Only allowed a set number of items to bring on a mission.
- Memorize attack animations of monsters so you can block, dodge, or react accordingly.
- Beat a boss monster, then you harvest for items.
- A very, very centric-based hub for all your needs, like buying, crafting, or restocking.
Or am I just listing the obvious stuff from generic MMORPGs?

IMO I sat there thinking it was GW graphics the entire time.

But Monster Hunter is hunting giant monsters!
We just hunt......giant monsters!
OMG!
No but seriously it doesn't remind me of it

dfo is a better reminder if you ignore the graphics and include XE

Reminds me more of a toned down, easier Demon's Souls, since Vindictus looks like something easy for beginners to get a hang of while Monster Hunter takes some true skill and is unforgiving for novices. Demon's Souls is what's really comparable to Monster Hunter. Not to mention in Monster Hunter, you can switch between weapons whenever you want. You're never limited to using one type of weapon and fighting style. There's also armor skills that activate even more potential in combat in Monster Hunter, like Adrenaline and ESP.
I'd seriously choose Monster Hunter Frontier over Mabinogi Heroes any day considering that.

Monster Hunter >>>>>>> Mabinogi Heroes.
But you'll have to make do with that, lagging monsters = teleportation.
Being hit by a charging Silver HM G-Ranked 19 starred Rathalos is no laughing matter... Especially when it charges 8 miles away from you and still hit.
Just stick with Mabinogi for now and hope CAPCOM decides to come up with an American / European / English MHFO server.
