Rain casting questions

  XD dw, you have to be standing right next to/on top of the monsters for them to naturally aggro you. It also takes around 2 seconds before they aggro, so unless you're intentionally afking, in most situations you'll be safe
  
  Edit: just went to Barri normal to test if it's shadow mission exclusive, turns out it happens even for normal dungeons. Will be a bit hard if you guys are testing it out since goblins take longer to aggro, but make sure you follow it around

  I don't have a volcano, but I tested out using a hellfire on another group of goblins in barri normal, seems to work like any other rain cast o: didn't get any aggro for the full duration

  I decided to try this too, based on what Wildk said and me standing on a golem I don't think rain casting actually STOPS aggro at all it just decreases the aggro range on mobs. o: I stood on top of a golem in OA in the rain and it aggroed me about as fast as I'd expect it to if I had just gone into it's aggro range normally.

  Notice how Kristel spawned on top of them and aggroed while the others didn't.

  what cloud does is shorten mob's aggro range by a lot. So if mob has long aggro range(eg. mobs in npc) you'd still get aggro-ed if you sit/stand literally right next to npc.
  
  and volc works just fine, just fire-type cylinder has less duration due to its elemental.

  Im talking about sitting in a room of ghasts perfectly fine.
  Then several mob tweaks later in NA. Massive aggro by everything.
  If fire and volcano has no effect on this, then it's just NA being bullshit.

  When i used a volcano, everything aggroed me. Considering i run OA quite frequently, i have used RC extensively there.

  I'm not doubting your experiences, but since golems multi-aggro pretty fast by default, did you make sure not to get into close range with them?
  
  Also, for the ghasts, by default it takes them around 5 seconds to aggro, just like goblins; They are very likely to have walked away at least once before naturally aggroing, which would negate the aggro timer.
  
  If you'd like them to aggro you with rain cast it's still possible, but you have to make sure you follow them around even when they move.
  
  I don't think NA would ever be original enough to come up with tweaks on their own :P

  And ive done OA many times, that one incident of massive aggro was odd, and i was using a fire cylinder.
  The other times they wouldnt even aggro me at all, and i would have shock on as well (before they bugged the hell out of it)

  Weirrrrrrrd. By the way did the rain cast's lightning used to have resetting aggro capabilities, because if so that's a good indicator rain cast was adjusted. Plenty of people can confirm rain cast's lightning doesn't drop aggro at all now
