For when I want to reference a sound/music track without pulling up a whole Youtube video, using something like [SOUND].MP3/.WAV file URL[/SOUND] would be nice. It's already done in profiles, the same music player could be used.

But then you'd have to pull up an MP3 of the song and sometimes those are hard to come by or you have to upload them yourself.
So I'mma disagree to this.
Besides, we already have the youtube plugin.
That same plugin for our profiles doesn't even tell us the name of the song, so there's something.

Let me be more clear: Lately I've gotten into audio editing, and I want to show people, but I don't want to turn an mp3 file into an mp4, upload it to my youtube account, and paste the link here just as a workaround to show others.

I wouldn't mind such a feature.
I'm behind the idea. We just need Osay's approval.

Have you tried soundcloud?
Or even puush?
Puush lets you upload mp3.

I actually really like this idea, as long as it's something easy to do. It could be pretty useful.

Right. I don't know how difficult it is, and whether there is a vbulletin mode or it. Osay?

Eh? Sounds like she's just trying to help you. She's suggesting to try those services if you want to upload an mp3 and share it with people.
