How do I do a transaction over 300k

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. Pay by bank, however there are extra fees involved.
You should consider clearing out inventory and getting money pouches for such purposes. (Or borrow them from friends). Six 50k pouches should be good to go.

The other easy way is to pick them up from White Dragon Raids, I see people dropping them all the time here after they have cleared their gold.

Yeah, 'cause you can totally buy things from personal shops with checks.

Like Yogurt said, if you tick the "Direct Bank Transaction" box at the bottom of the Buy Item window, it'll let you buy the item with gold that's in your bank, though there is a small fee for it. I dunno, I find it a lot more convenient to spend a little gold on a fee than to have to deal with gold bags.

You can message the seller and ask if you can do a trade with the check. It's just a little more troublesome somehow.

The only person that really benefits more from this is the seller since they can skip the 2% shop tax transaction fees involved otherwise. What people might choose to do is to ask them whether the seller can lower the price a bit in such a case for a win-win situation.
