Stop hating on flutes, they're totally chill. Like they donate half their cheques to charity and stuff.
real talk: I actually like flutes. :U Doesn't change the fact that all my flute parts for music are like 2 steps lower in the volume. They're really loud. D:

Pianoisosexpensive. I am going to be all over the violin and Cello. To be honest, from an actual composing standpoint, the new instruments are more interesting to me than singing. I just want singing for instant buffs and phantasmal chorus.
Now you're getting there.
If someone's ears start bleeding from this then I think they have existing underlying issues that they need to get checked out before playing video games. D: Not to mention their ears probably already are bleeding from the curse of the dunbarton bell.
The Dunbarton bell patch came after Diva in KR - It was introduced as a way of dealing with the player complaints about horrible singing.
That said it does facilitate Otorrhagia - and both of these issues should be fixed immediately. Priority 1 for KR Mabi.

Things I care about:
- Phantasmal Chorus
- Singing
- Instrument Painting Spray
Things I don't care about:
- Encore
- Microphones
- New instruments
I've yet to see the upgrades for the new instruments. The piano had better kick serious ass for it to be even remotely close to viable in any sort of combat situation. I doubt the others are much better.
I'm still waiting to learn whether or not music buff effects and music duration effects influence phantasmal chorus. If so, i'll probably switch my Grandmaster Talent to Bard.

There's always an option to listen to music played only by people in your party.

I won't be listening to anything at all once I log in after the patch and my 5 (!) senses are assaulted and my ears bleed out.
Well, I could always login at white dragon - people can't sing if they're dead.

I dont mind, but i am incredibly self conscious, so the volume will be going down.

Well if anything I can always mute my sound and compose a score scroll with 2 hours of high pitched notes and play it in the market channel. Force people to mute their speakers, blacklist me, or turn off music.

[S]Yeah, my ears would sooner bleed out listening to people sing on mabi than shoving a Q-tip into my ear canal and smacking it all the way in with a hammer.[/S]

I don't know how you could reasonably fit this fellow:
[Image: http://cdn.defjam.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/q-tip-2012.jpg]
into your ear, much less smack him with a hammer before he suplexes you.
But yes, Otorrhagia is a real danger.

Yeah, I might not need a hammer for this.

Those earbuds are unreasonably big. Might need a hammer after all.

I might be agreed. But you have an option.
1) listen and live with it.
2) Mute the whole window sounds.
3) Mute the game sound.
4) Use your brain.
5) etc.
It's not like that Diva patch is at false. But the ppl who using it the worng way is at false.
PS. I can't see any plot of this thread.

Yes, but i'm going to die when I log in due to horrible noises unless they're switched off by default. I'm writing up my will on how to split my nation gold right now.
