Bad news - They're breeding replacements.
Honestly, we can even look at kids today, and people in their 20s, and every age range, and see they still have
horrible, absolutely horseshit misconceptions about the world and other people and
will not even hesitate to kill off anyone they disagree with and support these sorts of crimes. Thankfully, we've pretty much gotten over the whole gay thing and anyone who thinks it won't be legal (to get married and have sex) on a universal level, outside of a few strange countries here and there, doesn't really hold a realistic view of the future. But looking at the big picture, this is only just the very beginning of a step towards a better future and I don't think any of us will live to see the next big step. We'll see things like drugs begin to get legalized and this, and some smaller things in the future, but it's gonna take a while.
The only reason people aren't outraged at the wrongs of the world, beyond simple things everyone can understand like war and maybe a few blatantly unfair laws, is because they're socially conditioned into everything. The only reason so much of this generation supports gay rights is because it's been preached to us and we can understand how restrictions are bad here. But one day, we're going to be those old people we hate. Why? Because we already are, it's just there aren't enough people yet to show us. We haven't controlled the world long enough for people to see
why what we do is ridiculous.
I'm not against people supporting human rights like this, but I wish they'd tackle more challenging things that actually have noteworthy opposition.
I don't think everyone should be a political activist, but I think people should open their minds. Part of that is realizing how we're all flawed and those who oppose gay rights are simply flawed in a different way.

I'm under the belief that in 50 years, we're going to be the old bigots who don't understand their crazy new beliefs and ideals of the next generation. I try so hard to keep up, but I'm already starting to see things that I can't possibly accept.
The difference, I suppose, is that I am not willing to advocate violence on it. But that really isn't much when social persecution is still a huge problem.
I saw this post after I wrote mine out. I feel the opposite. I feel people push their controlling nature on others just about as aggressively as ever and I find it intolerable... And the older I get, the more I realize it. People are real assholes and they're so certain that they're right that they'll tell others what they
can't do based on it. It's why we didn't have gay rights in the first place.
