[Mabinogi JP] Diva Update Changes

  Just though't i'd share some interesting info.
  Mabinogi Japan just got diva today, a month after merlin.
  
  They renamed it ”アリア” (Aria) instead of Diva.
  
  [Confirmed] Mabinogi JP made voice overs for singing to have more japanese vocal tones than korean.

  [S]Herro forgot to mention this when the KR Diva update came out.[/S] There was a double ducat/gold/exp event for commerce when diva came out in KR. Japan has that event going on too right now. So yay for pianos.

  So basically it's a gacha where you get a random item, or is it like the school uniform as in buying the bag get you the whole Hero (Zero) outfit set plus some useful items?

  I have no clue. I can only guess it's a regular gacha, but full news can be reported by someone else who plays Mabinogi JP regularly.

  I've determined that music is the end-game of Mabinogi. Perhaps music modifiers like GM Bard and music titles don't outclass everything right now...but they will. Not to mention, Phantasmal Chorus looks super fun.

  A quick sum of that translation is basically:
  
  The music buff bonus that playing instruments gives apparently stacks with the singing skill's music buff.
  
  Interesting. I thought it was a bug in KR, but basically playing instrument's +15 music buff applies to singing, stacking to +30 music buff together and yes... it does work with weaponless singing, so thus your overture's normal will be 26%.
  
  Most likely when Diva comes, we will be enjoying the ability to stack playing instrument's buff with our singing skill's buff... with both at rank 1, collectively we'll be enjoying +30...
  
  However, consequently, it will also make instruments much better in that aspect, allowing anyone to easily reach 30% thanks to rank 1 singing (+15 music buff) + rank 1 playing (+15 music buff) + Instrument (+what buff you choose).
  
  That means singing weaponless will be 26% normal while playing without one (rank 1 singing and music playing, barehand/weapon), while players with instruments can easily reach up to 40%.

  While it was already known that Playing Instrument stacks with Singing while singing, this effectively validates that claim. I've seen a number of overseas videos where people hit 26% damage with Battlefield Overture, so i'm certainly convinced.

  I should hit 40~51% with Battlefield Overture depending on the performance post Diva. If music buff effects and performances influence Phantasmal Chorus, I should be able to slash enemy stats/movement speed by nearly 80%.
  
  Speaking of which, what constitute "stats"? I suppose the only way to test would be to debuff a possessed GOP enemy.

  Yes, rank 1 singing and rank 1 instrument playing should stack together, regardless of what you pick, however the buff from instrumental upgrades will make it stronger, allowing even the most common players to hit 30~40% overture easily.
  
  Though weaponless r1/r1/r1 will introduce 26%, which at the moment in Mabinogi NA, is basically an upgraded lyre without any reforges.
  
  Though, I would best verify it later to a degree.
  
  Also, we're currently finding out the voices are different.
  
  I have asked Kurayami to sing one of my custom made MMLs right now for a video.
  
  
  Edit(1): For stats, I do not know exactly, since we pulled the info from the packfiles. Though verification on it can be done quite easily.
  
  Also most likely we will get Diva one month apart from Merlin, seeing how JP did it.

  I don't think music is the end-game of mabinogi. It's more of a must from the start now. The damage added is just too good.
  
  I still think the voice still isn't as natural as what you find in vocaloid. However, this is better than the KR version for sure.
  
  No problem with ducats, I have enough for a piano. Don't want to go commerce crazy last minute although I'd love to join my friends at it.

  I wonder if they sampled Yuki Ono and Tomomi Isomura for the new vocals.
  They did the a pan and lorna drama series a few months ago.

  Yes please. I think the one that was being shared a while ago did not have normal vocal included.
