Guessing this is the best section to post this.
Just wondering which difficulty do you guys usually go with?
Starting a new game of course, not if you have previous experience playing it.

Depends on the game.. if it plays in a style I'm familiar with FPS/RPG etc then i go for the hardest.
But if its a game I have no idea about then normal. Like say Catherine.. i could barely get through that game on normal >.>

If it's a game where the main selling point is the story and that's all I care about, I go with easy. If it has great gameplay and etc. then I just go with normal.

If it's a combat-oriented game and my first go, then I'll usually pick easy. But otherwise I go with normal for everything else.

I get bored if the game isn't driving me crazy trying to figure out how to get past a certain part. Hardest difficulty always. Assuming it is intended to be beaten. I've played some games where certain difficulties are not intended to be beaten. Silly.
Improving myself, learning on my mistakes, increasing my reflexes, and getting better at forming new strategies makes me a better gamer (and worker!)
Challenge me.

I always go for the hardest difficulty I find it to be more enjoyable.

Normal-Hardest
Prefer puzzle and strategy games, the Pikmin series for an example.

Depends on the game. Puzzle games like Zelda, I want normal. But games like Mario, bring on the pain.

Normal to get a feel for the game, then I go for the most wrist-slitting difficulty I can think of because I hate myself and don't deserve to beat anything ever.

It really depends on the game, but usually it's normal because that's how I roll. :llama_cool:

It depends on the game honestly. If I find the game easy on Normal I go on Hard.
But I never pick easy.
It depends if the game has an easy start on normal too.

Hardest until I realize how hard it is.

Only games I put on hard and up are fighters and beat em ups.

It's usually dependant on the game. Generally I start out with Normal first to get the hang of things then move up to Hardest difficulties, but sometimes it's fun to be able to learn on the go by starting out on Hardest difficulties. [Image: http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m9gcr4ZOvq1qzckow.gif]
