Since you seems to have 2 sets of armor, my advice is to upgrade one of them to have high defense and the other for high protection. That way, you can reduce the damage taken based on how much damage you'd recieve if you ran around without protection. The only downside of doing this is that it will take up space in your inventory since you can't store your upgraded armor in your pets or bank. But even then, you should still have plenty of space to carry other things.

Actually you can put them in your bank. As long as it's your bank tab. They can also go in your house if you have one.

Actually they can't go in your house. Only your inv and bank tab. I've tried to put mine in my house and it doesn't allow it.

I'd choose prot. so mobs don't score as many crits on you.

I say to get protection. You can get Defense easy, from ranking Defense, along with using a good shield. It's an easy +30 with a kite and r1 Def. Plus, you can get a path with +6 prot, and +8 defense, and -3 dur. The highest defense you can get from armor is +11. 3 defense isn't hardly that big of a difference.

Sorry, that one was actually a guess. It's been awhile since I owned a house.
