I kinda of want to jump to Alexina to see how it's like on there now. Ruari is really quiet and Mari is full of rich people. Neither have a big population of noobs to "hang out" with because everyone is really established.

Yep, I think the same, but there's the occasional little spike here and there.

I actually have the same idea as OP. I'm hoping that restarting mabi will really hit this nostalgia lump I have for this game (quit for a year and a bit). I played on Ruairi ever since open beta and never tried another world. Lately (few years to a year back?) it's been relatively empty in Ruairi and playing feels kind of solo most of the time. I was wondering how the population in Alexina is like? I always have some sort of notion that mabinogi is a dying game (population wise).

Mari's prices are skyhigh compared to tarlach, keep that in mind.
Due to certain eccentric behavior from our "lovely" ne'er-do-wells, prices have been cheap for a lot of things.

I've visited Ruairi, Mari, and Tarlach before... the amount of lag felt the same to me.
It's your choice whatever you want to join: Alexina, or Mari... although I would say Alexina.
