AP gained through AP potions won't register until you relog.

I've had that happen before after using an AP potion, you might just have to relog or level once in order to fix it, that fixed it for me last time :)

"You do not have enough AP (Ability Points) to level up"
"AP is obtained when a character levels up"
This paradox is gona make the world implode e.e
"A character's EXP increases automatically when you train each skill, so AP can be obtained by training other skills or through questis"
Um no. I don't get exp from using a book to train composing or making pies on a combat talent. No exp training combat on trash mobs either. I don't have to train "other" skills to get exp. Making crap on a life talent yields exp regardless of which skill you are training.
"You also get AP when a character gets 1 year old, so spending time is also a good way.
They miight want to add that you stop getting AP after age 25..... Also you can not log on for 2 months and still get AP from aging so the idea of "spending time" to get this AP goes down the shitter.
....Oh, and Mabi can't count :/

Exp gained in a skill is transferred directly to the character's normal level as well.
+1.5 exp in a skill means you also get 1.5 exp in your current level.
Yes, this is a thing. It's been around since forever. Hardly noticable, though.

It is quite noticeable for new characters with beginner status though. Just click on the free perfectly trained skills, and they level up pretty fast up to a certain point.

Imagine a world where AP expires if you don't spend it within 30~60 days
