Youtube has gone too far

  I belive Google has allowed you to switch between accounts like that for a while now, and not just in YouTube. I too have it with an Apps account (and btw, they discontinued the free ones, so you can't sign up for them anymore!)

  -Personal Google account (with G+ page).
  -Apps account (which I rarely use, and I don't think has any YouTube content).
  -Original YouTube account (which now has a new, separate G+ page).
  
  I don't mind the current implementation. G+ needs to be used more.

  I can think of one plus... it might get rid of the downright stupid/racist/offensive Youtube comments if said people use Google+, because they have what they said tied to their real name and information.

  It might help, but people who sign up would probably make a fake account regardless. This move just pisses people off more than it should. I don't really care about G+ integration, the comment section is just something I'm not used to yet.

  Yeah. Though it might help reduce crap comments, it also brought along a lot of stupid junk.
  
  In any case I prefer to avoid the comments section anyway.

  Google doesn't own the internet though. You can still not-use Google services.

  Not using Google services is not using a massive part of the internet. There is no alternative for YouTube. Sure, we can use Bing over Google, Mapquest over Google Maps, Hotmail over Gmail and Bable..fi... Sorry, I can't. I can't go on with that list seriously.

  Youtube is mostly the only exception. I can see why people are mad.

  I think YouTube will benefit from it in the long term. They're probably still fine tuning it. As for Google+... I do pray that it won't get ruined by this. :(

  My issue is that the comments system is completely broken now. When clicking 'in Reply to <name>' it reloads the page instead of expanding. The comments are also less organised since they are covered in extra clutter. Also why does it now hide most of the content of a comment now? There was no need to restrict them to such a small size.
  
  I hope they tidy up the comments system, because apart from that I do not mind it. There are parts of the site which are much worse, like the intrusive ads you cannot skip. (I know you can get around this but still)
