Just wondering if anybody else has been experiencing weird behavior with magic,
Hailstorm
Unable to fire any crystals past the 10 second warning mark when the icon starts blinking. Any attempt to attack after that point cancels the entire cast and attempts to melee the target, effectively reducing active time by 33%.
Casting Speed
Minimal testing with Fireball yielded seemingly random times.
Not sure how up to date the wiki is since I was absent for the Magic renewal, and I've forgotten most calculations during my hiatus anyways.
Passives -
Magic Weapon Master Rank 1 = 15% Casting Time
1450 Int = 29% Cast Time
Actives -
Phoenix Fire Wand = 40% Casting Speed
Vivace Normal Performance = 13.64 Cast Speed
Fireball Base Cast = 20s
Regular Cast : Expected = 12s | Actual = 13.75s
Phoenix Cast : Expected = 7.25s | Actual = 11.25s
Vivace Cast : Expected = 10.4s | Actual = 12.00s
Phoenix Cast : Expected = 6.25s | Actual = 11.25s

Hailstorm's working for me. I tried it earlier.

I actually didn't think to check after the update since it has been broken for so long, but that part seems to be fixed.
Casting speed still wonky though, and my latency is usually top-notch. Can anybody make sense of it?

I assume the hailstorm thing is server lag. I've sometimes been able to fire, sometimes I'm not.

Your expected numbers are probably just wrong.

(Cast time at 0 int)/[(1 + INT/5000)(1+(Wand Speed Boost))(1+(Vivace Boost))(1+(Magic Weapon Mastery Boost))(1+(Reforge Boost))]
20 / (1.29 * 1.15) = 13.48
Regular Cast: Expected 13.48 | Actual = 13.75 (Acceptable latency/error?)
20 / (1.29 * 1.15 * 1.1364) = 11.86
Vivace: Expected 11.86 | Actual = 12 (Acceptable latency/error?)
Keep in mind only a portion of this formula is in effect. Vivace and the Phoenix will not currently stack. Only one of the two is counted until it's fixed later. I'm a bit confused on the phoenix. I'm thinking MWM doesn't stack with it, either.
20 / (1.29 * 1.4) = 11.07
Phoenix: Expected 11.07 | Actual = 11.25 (Seems okay)

It wasn't really pos lag. It happened every time at exactly the 10 second mark, but I haven't been able to replicate it post-Merlin.

Okay, thanks. That makes a lot more sense now.
Kind of sucks though, what's the point of having so many sources of cast speed when they don't work together. Not like any of these are new mechanics so it shouldn't be broken.

Will be fixed during Diva i believe.

I am getting a weird issue with fusion bolt occasionally swapping the order it wants be to used in.
Example> Savage Fire wand, cast firebolt + ice bolt for first charge, then from there after it'll make me do ice then fire to continue stacking.
Weird.

Weird.
If it has a Chaincast upgrade, that's probably the issue.

That makes no sense at all; You can't fusion bolt with chain cast.

Yes you can, albeit only 1 charge, it won't work past that, though.
(Could be a bug, idk)

Still has no relation to my issue considering I am saying I *can* continue charging, I just have to reverse the order of the spells.
The wand doesn't have chain casting on it anyhow, it's specifically for fusion bolting.

Andddddd, getting the Hailstorm bug again.
Tested it with Hermit, Trinity, and Knuckles and all three weapons cancelled early after the 10 second marker.
Also tried with/without Heavy Armor.
I was however able to fire non-fully loaded crystals. Any attempt at a 5-charge crystal would fail.

I have it to. As soon as it starts to flash it cancels within like 2 seconds.
