A guildie of mine told me that in Solea cave, if you find a particular patch of herbs, that type of herb would spawn in the same location across, if not all, the channels (i.e I would find a Mandrake patch almost every time if I cc while being in the same spot). I tried it and that doesn't seem to be the case, and its gotten pretty frustrating riding back and forth different parts of the cave, and begs me to question, should I opt to go into Ant Hell instead?

When I was doing it, I just kept track of where each patch was located, then cc'd to each channel and checked every individual room, to be 100% sure I didn't miss one. The only irritating part about herbalism is mandrakes, once you're past that its literally 2 hours of work to r1. I doubt you'll see much of a difference in ant hell xD.

solea is better by far compare to ant hell. much easier to access
and ur guildie got part of it right. there a chance of a herb patch [or ore patch] on the same spot across all channel. just because a mandrake patch was found in this one spot it doesnt always means a mandrake patch will be in the same spot across all ch. there might be a mana/bloody etc etc instead.

I never said it would be the same type of herb, what I said was there would be a patch in the same location on another ch. The nodes are random but its alot better then going through that hell maze and searching for herbs when you dont know where they'll be.

I wasn't naming names. I also tried to confirm the statement from another person and he said that it worked for him when he was doing herbalism.

I've gone beyond that by and currently on the antidote herb part. I'm seeing a lot more of those and poison herbs pop so HOPEFULLY it'll stay that way till I'm done ranking.
