Hope you guys have been checking out your emails lately. Cuz they just started giving out beta invites yesterday!
Here's the image you'll receive. As far as I can tell you, you get a special key to participate and special log in info for their forums. If I can, I'll make sure to tell you guys more about the Beta this weekend. So stay tuned!

From what I've found, that's all they've been doing I think.

The beta I got in during the summer was only 4 hours long. And it was down for half that time due to bugs and all that other jazz, so I basically spent half the day trying to get into the actual game. Great service Bethesda. Combat's like Guild Wars 2 in a sense, and it lagged like all hell with everyone in the starting area.

Played it a few and it feels like Guild Wars 2 and Skyrim meshed together. Open-world exploration, lots of people can just randomly join in, Skyrim level-up system(no perks, you spend skill points to get new skills), only 8 hotkeys, favorites menu, dodging and blocking, sneaking(although it's redundant when there's over 10 people doing the same quest as you). Questing comes in either general objectives with waypoints that tell you where to go, or waypoints that point you in the general direction of what you're looking for. Quests usually want you to find or figure out something on your own using the quest text, as reminiscent of Morrowwind and Oblivion in a sense.
Character creation is pretty broad; you can define the physique, the sizes of body parts, and there's a lot of choices for facial features. You have a solid class but that doesn't stop you from wearing certain equipment from what I've seen(Mage with Medium Armor using a Sword). Your skills are defined into tiers and as you use said weapon, you'll unlock the skills in the later tier trees. Your class skills are separate from your weapon skills, as well as your armor and racial.

Stuff
Idk if its best to post the photos but posting your impression (of an alpha) is fine well prob not idk. I'll hold my impressions of the game till later but all I can say is that most likely it won't be worth paying a subscription for. (nor is any mmo. Because honestly now you are just wasting your cash for a bs belief that it automatically makes the game better)

Shanghai, remove the image before they ban you.
Or at least blur out your character name...xD

I played it for a few hours this weekend, I liked it personally but it needs some work meshing things together. Seems very sloppy at the moment.

Its enjoyable but what does it offer besides first person that you can't already find in a free to play game or buy to play whatever. I'm stumped, litterally no innovation and I felt like I was just running from the next area to the next just following the arrow. There's no reason to explore whatsoever. Maybe it gets better later on but man it takes so dam long to level. There are PUZZLES THOUGH so they got something right. But really theres nothing in this game that you can't find already thats out and I get that its in alpha still but this is zenimax and their original gameplay that got leaked was ASS so I'm not keeping my hopes high. If it was someones first mmo it would be cool and the game is great fun if you have a couple of friends but its not worth more than 50 bucks I can't stress that enough. Is it at the qaulity of skyrim? HELL NO. Will never be because the quests aren't as interesting or midly creative. They plan for it being available in spring next year and thats not a lot of time. So get it play for like 2 months and you will be good and don't believe those fanboys saying subscription is better just because your spending more money makes it higher qaulity. but eh I'll just wait for peria chronicles and blade and soul and archeage to fill these needs of mine

Heh, there's tons of ESO pics of characters in imgur. They'd probably have to find those first before they find me, but are they that finnicky?

Theres a filter of your email around the screen over the game in a transparent black and white. Its best if you remove it

Yeah, I wonder how they're going to release this game in Spring?
