As the title says I wanna special upgrade my Savage fire wand. Should I use blue or red stones? Blue seems like a good choice for the magic attack but with the new mastery along with fire and bolt mastery red seems like a good choice now for criticals. Anyone mind giving advice on what I should do? Please and thank you in advance. :skip:

Always blue
Magic damage is almost always consistent, even at S5 you'll hit more on average than a R5 wand.

Last I checked, S Upgrade gives Magic Attack and not Magic Damage. It's time we note the differences.

blue; consistency with magic is ALWAYS favorable, since the skills are somewhat slow moving, you don't want to rely on crits to kill enemies, and rather just straight overpower them with raw damage so you won't have to load another attack.

It does, but that doesn't make it any worse for magic weapons.
As everyone else has said, S upgrades. Magic's probably going to overkill on most things with a crit anyway so R is a moot point.

Magic damage doesn't exist anymore. Except maybe in a weak title. x;
