Buying furniture is a pain in the ass

  So I've been living at my apartment for about half a year now, and I realized that I still didn't get around to buying furniture. The only thing I have is a computer desk and chair, which I naturally bought ASAP. I sleep on an air mattress.. I don't think this counts as furniture.
  
  Been thinking it over for a while and I'm thinking to just go to IKEA and order a bunch of stuff:

  Furniture in general is annoying, not just buying it.
  Once you have it you need to keep it clean.
  You need to get annoyed if someone doesn't use a coaster for their drink.
  Have to be careful not to damage it.

  Kijiji is good for some things but when it comes to large objects you tend to have to go get it yourself, which is a pain in the ass. Rather have ikea's slave labor deliver it, I think they even have an assembly service.

  And I also realized that I should buy a sofa chair bed thingy for when I have a guest staying over. That's another ~$230. :0 I hope I won't have to move in the near future... cause moving it all will be a pain in the ass, and throwing it all away would be a pain on the wallet.. lol.

  Edit: I'm looking at sofas and their prices... wtf. I should not have thrown out my sofa. It would've been worth like 600 dollars according to this ikea catalog.

  You'd be better off going to a lumber store and asking them to make you a bed frame. Or even getting a bed frame that's made of something that isn't flimsy wood.

  Used furniture stores have amazing selections also you can make a easy make shift bed just need large sheet of Ply wood and then get Some heavy duty Plastic box containers and set them up like this Large rectangle being the ply wood the others being Heavy duty plastic Containers Should cost maybe 50$ or less then just add your mattress on and your done

  This is how my father made some beds when we were kids when we were broke as fk and could nt afford metal frames that or wed just stack 2 mattresses on each other

  2) Be there to sign for the damn thing (also a pain)
  3) If it's already assembled you still have to try and get it through the damn door
  4) If you ever move you have to do 3 or take it apart and do Step 1 for each furniture you own
  
  Annoying, annoying, annoying, and more annoying.
  
  That being said, the furniture choices you picked look acceptable to me.
  
  To be honest my bed is a rollaway bed which my sister gave me.
