I'm stuck on how to do this. I checked out the wiki but when I do the shadow mission I can't seem to clear it. I get stuck on the Demoic Liches. Whenever they spawn, the greater lich instantly casts fireball or thunder and the 5 other smaller liches cast firebolt and kill me rather quickly. I transform and stuff but I can't clear it. I use final hit but it gets canceled instantly by firebolt. What do I do? Can I duo this mission?

Go in a corner, summon Adniel or something.

If you are a human or an elf, lure them one by one using a bow, and defeat them like that. (Even rank Novice range is good for luring)
Don't give them a chance to cast magic once you've gotten them to you, a quick icebolt can be used to stop them, you could also use a pet to help you here.

You could also get a Cylinder and buy the book to learn Summon Golem, this could help depending on the difficulty level you're playing at.

But of course if you don't have access to the Bone Atlatl you may be able to attract unwanted aggro because the Wood/Feather Atlatls has slightly less Range than a Short Bow.

@OP, I've did this with my alt Elf on HM because it recently reached 1k and since I didn't really train that character I had a damn hard time as well, but what I did was kill off as much Lesser Liches as possible (melee elf's OHKO WM ftw) and run if the Lich was about to cast spells.

If you can't OHKO Lesser Liches then you should do what Snowie recommended and lure them away with long ranged attacks.
