Picked up Xenoblade Chronicles :D
$80 preowned, $90 new because fucking Gamestop exclusive, 50% off for black friday meaning $40.
Used $25 gift card, came out to like $18 because of tax >_>
All I really could find.
No deals for the last 3DS games I don't own but want.
Getting employee appreciation week discount @ Barnes & Nobles next week so I'm going to pick up about $100-200 worth of books then because 45% off plus ship-to-home that we're not technically allowed to use gives Amazon's discounted price.
I need to pick up some laundry stuff and crap, maybe a couple of manly cosmetic items, but too lazy for that :D
You know you got riped off for that game they open the game so its consider preowned and they dont need to have it set by publisher pricing

$18 for a new game is a rip-off?

Technically $40 since I had the $25 gift card from E-Rewards (which actually awards partial credit if you don't qualify for their surveys!).
But honestly, considering it's a gamestop exclusive, they have every right to rip people off :/
Also, it's pretty well known that Gamestop employees will open new games and play them before release, then market them as new unless they changed their policies.
It's pretty hard to tell if a new game is actually new because they only keep the boxes on the shelf and keep the games at the back of the register (which is why I never buy anything there unless there's a really good incentive which is pretty rare.

I got a bunch of Blu-ray's and DVD's. Too lazy to list them all.
I did get Dishonored, Black Ops, and Tomb Raider for $10, and Beyond: Two Souls and The Last of Us for $20, though.

Normally an unopened reprint goes for 40-50 They will Open on purpose so they can resell them for more ( Mainly Because before the game was reprinted people were willing to pay 80+ for the game and due to Gamestop being greedy they want to make more money ) So what they do is open the copies so that they can sale them for thier set price no longer publisher sale price which is 40-50$
So technically they're ripping you off
Heres a video about it
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3lkgUQgjckU#t=26
They're doing the same in many the game stops near me instead of saleing them for the 40-50$ they're charging 80+

So you paid $40 + $18? I'm confused. D:

Yes, I know about that. But still at least Gamestop lowered the price to the standard MSRP for Black Friday.

No one my buddies manage to snag me one from our local game stores for like 18$ used i will never support Gamestop not even by buying Giftcards like Nexon/Karma etc
Also technically he could of gotten it if it was 50% off for 5$ or free cuz of gift card But im guessing he got a used copy

There wasn't much that I really wanted.
I did get some winter boots, pajamas and towels for a steal, and a cheap mp3 player for the gym.

Game Stops around me hardly lowered their prices on anything. In fact, they didn't lower anything at all or had any bundles to boot!
I went midnight Black Friday shopping, stayed up until 8 A.M. and got Levi's, a jacket, two pretty good shoes(Converse and Janoski's), then went to Target and Best Buy later that day to get a 2DS and some 3DS games that were on sale.
Never again.

stuff in canada tends to get lowered at most down to 5% and is hardly worth going out to shop ... i think was only one year when canada had same prices as US possibly even cheaper cuz the dollar value was same and everyone was planning trips to states to make most of it and businesses were trying to negate that sales lost by having even cheaper things

I worked. Yeah. That's what I did on Thursday and then for almost 12 and a half hours on Friday. Because of people wanting to shop. Yay.
