Bringing some over from Gameabout. Sorry if some of these are repeats
Homestead "Squares" are 1m x 1m (100 x 100). Use this as reference when trying to figure out distance increases from things like reforges or upgrades.
Hate Hunting for Shock Pages? Spam those Skill training seals to get it from rN to rF.
Cooking Dungeon annoying? Yeah, me too. Equip the Protection-slashing-knife-of-sexiness and a Guard Cylinder, then cast Shock. 1 hit with shock = 1 hit with the knife, so you're on your way to 0 protection mobs.
When creating alts for whatever reason, consider making them as a Mage or Lancer talent. The 1 gold repair weapons are really useful.
Wondering why people prefer Colossus Puppet over the Pierrot?
Pierrot's small hitbox forces it to get closer to the opponent when using Act 2: Threshold, as well as the same skill's 3rd hit being delayed by a small amount.
So I herd Chaincast +4 Ice Wands are badass for reducing Snap Cast cooldowns

Since most activities in Mabi don't involve exploration exp, you can wait on completing a daily exploration quest when your exploration level is close to full. This basically gives you access to a free full recovery potion.

Never knew that. Thanks

Pretty sure many people know this, but I also have seen many that don't.
If you stack items with time limit, the time limit will average out.
This means that you can manipulate the duration of current event items.

If events involve killing goblins (like the two more recent ones we have now, treasure and pet ciar) or you just happen to be running dungeons with lots of goblins, you can hoard the apples for church PTJs or cheap leather for weaving/reselling.

Event also counts for the daily Commerce Quest: Defeat 15 bandits.
...Although that was pretty obvious

You can unlock yourself from "thunderlock" with a magic bolt. Simply cast and fire thunder, cast and fire a bolt (preferable ice or lightning), and you are free to switch to your auxilary weapon. The enemy will remain thunderlocked while this happens. You can use your creativity from there.

It really only requires hitting something when in "thunderlock"

Get R1 icespear.
Set party "all to finish"
Go to shylien floor 2
Hit one mutant plant/bunny in the center mob with 5 charge icespear.
Immediately play dead afterwards.
Watch the destruction unfold.

Haven't seen this being mentioned.
Along side of going to the hot springs to recover gathering pet mp, just use a combination of Fantastic Chorus and Harvest Song. Not only does your party regenerate it's self faster, but you also get those lovely gathering boosts. Plus, you don't have to keep moving from the hot springs to looms and such.

Those big plants like to shoot fireball in your general direction even if you're playing dead so that doesn't work out for me very well. The sasquatch also sometimes likes to run near you and stomp or WM, and depending on position lag it may or may not hit you in the face.
What I usually end up doing is run away out of range of fireballs (the ones on the sides are the problem, not so much the ones in the center that you send ice spear into), then play dead, and send out a nimbus to attack sasquatch until it dies, after it dies the sasquatch aggro usually resets and I can enjoy the ice explosions in peace.

Not really, that works if you plan to ice spear, have it explode, then gtfo. Doesn't work if you plan to keep nuking the map repeatedly (or if your chain reaction lasts very long) because the plants insta-aggro when the skill finishes, and once in a while the sasquatch do too (ones that might have survived your first nuke).
I actually made a video about that some time ago:

Your issue is that your icespear is not killing all the plants while your dead. I use this tactic regularly.
1. Generally I load an icespear and shoot it to the right or left side of the center mob using spellwalk.
2. I quickly use snapcast then walk a few steps and shoot a shot to the other side.
3. I have party set to any finish and I have icespear explosion 18+ rosemary gloves with about 460 magic attack.
4. I play dead immediately after casting the second icespear and summon my heroes bag.
5. This clears the entire center mob, even ancients, and will likely clear the entire room.
6. If you play dead before the plants spawn they do not agro you.
7. Wait like 2 mins for all the chaining to end and then get up use crisis escape. Then walk away.
You should have no agro and have cleared the room. If your smart you will have a friend on an elf collecting materials and enchants for you.
Sidenote: If you do this on a channel that someone has cleared space for gathering shyllien stuff prepare for the hate. I try to avoid this but sometimes I don't see them before I cast and its drama drama drama. Equivalent to windmilling spider farms 4 years ago.
