Lolwat? It's not like my Crisis does 10k and kills everything in one shot. It's like one second of standing there waiting for someone to pull off a crisis. Also its not just Crisis, it's flame burst, thunder, hailstorm, etc. People don't want to wait a few more seconds to make the room/orb easier on everyone. I'm not complaining about people killing stuff, I'm complaining about people doing shit that makes it harder to kill stuff. Dunno where it came off that its "all about me".
Ahem... It's actually like 5 seconds due to the invul afterwards >.>

If I'm running with people that I don't know then I tend to watch them the first few mobs and just use my bow so I can keep an eye on the other player's play style instead of screwing anyone up, but it gives me a good idea of how I can adjust myself to their playstyle, if i should keep out my bow, switch to fighter, magic or alchemy, or just start with the cleric stuff.

If you don't know where it comes off of "all about me", then you should read what you just typed. Even read the title of the your thread. All about your Crisis combo, your way of doing dungeons, party members have to adapt to your strategies, and etc. The fact you are complaining about how other people make it hard for you to do you dungeon comes off as "all about me". Like someone said, Crisis does take awhile for it to do its thing due to animation + invulnerability.
Have you stop for a second, and think that it isn't all about you, and people are just doing whatever to get the dungeon fast while keeping themselves entertained? Maybe they were expecting you to adapt to their strategies, and not they adapting to yours?

I don't like to solo a dungeon, but when I'm in a group, I tend to do rooms on my own; I mainly use the pugs to help speed up the run because we can split the # of rooms (which also helps my laziness :P), unless tehy're total baddies I'd be done with 75% of the rooms, and they're still there killing the last spawn...

Because of Mabi's combat system and lack of balance in development, this is actually the optimal way to play right now. There's a breaking point where adding more people actually slows down the speed at which you can kill mobs because you lose stun control (unless you have armies of Clouds/Ice Dragons at your disposal).
SWHM can actually be like twice as good as MA if you have a competent full party.
[S]But really, the only fun in partying is flaunting damage, kill-stealing, and ruining knockdowns to get other people killed. It's not like there's much in the game actually requires any amount of teamwork.[/S]

Just wait for diva to come out, range+puppetry+diva=solonogi
On the matter of people being stupid: it happens. Although I haven't met as many as before (not sure why, but I'm think it's because I don't lag as much and I crisis before they can react, lul) sometimes people will be stupid. I've been doing puppetry for a while to know how to save a fuck up if possible. Also, I haz reforges so people can't really screw me over, orz

The best way to fight someone who's trying to ruin your mob is to let them do all the fight. Either they can clear it which saves you work, or they get their butt kicked and you go save him to show superiority.
That being said, I love soloing, Elite SM and MA, and soloing usually give the best exp.

Fixed, it was bugging me :c.
On topic, I really don't care if someone screws something up as long as I'm not dead. Usually in random parties it only takes me a few seconds to recognize what people are using and adjust appropriately. Not sure about others and I have run into the problem of people screwing up my combos, but as I said as long as I'm not dead, I'm fine.
Edit: Oh god AN HERO is dark. Rofl. Ouuuuch.

this is the same thing that mages had to handle
but guess what, they adapted to the way other people play
or just party with friends or guildies
As EndlessDreams said, people will play instead of standing there doing nothing
In the end, you don't play a game to have it "easy", so why do people have to bother about waiting for your crisis?
now if they do stuff just to troll other people, that's different, but i don't think that's the situation.
And sorry to say this but, CP nowadays means nothing, the only way you can judge people now is the way they play the game, leveling up and getting AP is too easy now -i got near 1k AP in a month being INACTIVE (login in 5-15 min per day) ...-

You're completely missing my point. It's not about people messing up my Crisis or whatever, it's about people deliberately making things harder for the whole party just so they can stroke their own dicks and be satisfied with themselves for being able to hit something first. You cannot tell me a room is easier to clear with all the mobs spread out instead of all of them bunched together . I don't Crisis because I think its all about me, its quite the contrary actually, and if someone else is using puppet I always let them do their thing and just switch to range. The Crisis thing is just one example, it's not about adapting to my strategy, its about using common sense.

I've really only come across this problem with people sub-total 1k. Everyone else, unless they're a returning player from before puppets, will at the very least let the puppeteer crisis first.
Quote from Paradise;1175597:

No, but every single one of us tries our damndest to make things as easy (or rather, as quick and efficient) as possible. Unsure of what point you're trying to make with the reference to magic before the revamp. Rather than mages "adapting" to how others played, it was more like they had to take a back seat because waiting for them would in most situations, slow down the run. A developed puppeteer has, in every single run I've done, made things easier.
As for the OP, I think it would have been a better idea to ask her to just smash mobs that are outside of your crisis radius rather than windmilling everything away.
