Does raincasting affect quality of item?
Which is more important: lining up the pointer with the x or timing the click to be as close to the end of the green bar as possible.

1) It is just like regular rain (or rain storm), it just increases success rate.
2) Lining the pointer with the X is usually more important. Just do both.
Then, it comes to RNG.

3) clicking by the order the dots stop is also important
Then comes the RNG

Raincasting/rain/thunder helps with blacksmith completion rate. It doesn't increase success rate or quality.
Both aligning the mark and hitting as close to the end is important. It feels like timing is harder and more important but I can't really tell for sure. Also, I don't think order really matters.

Magnifier goes berserk when you use it with the smithing game. It works find with tailoring though. I dunno why.

I always hit it a bit off since the perfect pixel is always never on center.

I always felt it was off a bit too.
Probably 1 pixel to the right?

It was something I read off a Korean website long ago. It explained that the perfect pixel is randomly set for each mark. It's rarely on the center and always off.
Like all games, you can eventually develop a 6th sense in where it will land, never accurate, but for me it holds true at least.

Wow that's really interesting o.o. I'll give that a try. TY Kenero :)
