No, I may like anime but it's not the only thing I watch. dramas and movies are sometimes just as good, if not better. Also, I have actual respect to other people as human beings, rather then the geek culture that was shown there. It wasn't everyone, but those few were pretty loud. And I'm sure the Japanese otakus are exactly the same way, but that's why the word isn't thrown around as much. people take otaku as a badge of geekiness. It should be a badge of shame.

Thankfully just that one person asked me and never talked to me again. Did meet two people when I picked up my friend and OH MY GOD. They greeted me by going "OMG ITS AN ASIAN", and my friend pretended to troll by calling me korean.
