  Its sometimes hard for us to understand that only some animals have the ability to love us back.
  As a reptile and cat owner I realize that they will never love me line I do them, and I'm okay with that.
  With Spook it is bitter sweet, she suffers from seperation anxiety, so she constantly wants me around, which makes her a bit different than most cats.
  Logically speaking, your cat doesn't love you, it realizes you are the bread winner and will come to you for its needs but that's it.
  
  I love Spook, but when it comes to loyalty and love you will never convince me there is anything betterthan a dog.
  
  Goldie is my best friend, and every time she looks at me with those big Brown eyes I see it. To her I am her friend, her protector, her provider, her family.

In the end, I would never trade my cat in for a dog.
