The early release is apparently available on steam if my RSS feeds are not lying to me. Wishing my motherboard hadn't exploded, but hopefully all my parts come in tomorrow for my new PC... been waiting for this for a long time.

Haven't looked for videos or even on steam, I dislike mobile browsing.
Going to see tomorrow at work.

30 bucks is a bit too steep for me. Meh, I'll just keep playing starbound.
The game looks amazing though.

It's on early release sale too... I believe.
I'm going to wait until it's in a beta or launch state. Tired of buying these Early Release games and being dissappointed because of all the shitty bugs

I'm not sure what else you were expecting. If it was full launch ready it wouldn't be on Early Release.

If they're good like Rocket they'd have left a disclaimer
"DayZ Early Access is your chance to experience DayZ as it evolves throughout its development process," Hall writes. "Be aware that our Early Access offer is a representation of our core pillars, and the framework we have created around them. It is a work in progress and therefore contains a variety of bugs. We strongly advise you not to buy and play the game at this stage unless you clearly understand what Early Access means and are interested in participating in the ongoing development cycle."

I have to ask you guys if you heard of a game called
Nether?
Because it plays quite similar to Dayz and it's currently in alpha per-release that can be bought for 30 or 50 bucks (with additional bonuses of course) so it's logical for Dean Hall to release a alpha for Dayz because it has competition now.

There's also Rust, which is 20 bucks but glitchy as fuck. It's like minecraft and dayz put together.

It really doesn't surprise me that after DayZ got a good following, that other people would pick up on it and make new games based on the concept (like WarZ)
Still surprises me how FAST they want to cash grab.
