on a similar note, labeling Fighter as recommended for new players when its so far out powered by close combat, highly 1v1 focused, and requires being able to read the monsters to use effectively, something a new player wouldnt be able to do easily
Really? i thought martial arts was a great class to begin with...
well its easy to get into, but if you wanna main it, i think that's where it might be too much. im currently MA on my alexina character, and i've had no real trouble. though i do agree with close combat being better to start with.
_______
and another thing that bothers me. WDay. Wday
why wednesday? shop keepers lower their prices.
i never have money on wensday. im always out of gold. i dont even understand why

The wiki tends to be inaccurate (and omit some details). Horribly so in this. It was confirmed a while ago that the dura loss is fixed at .03 loss per hit unblessed, and .015 blessed.
Mainly because folks don't want to edit it. I don't end up having time to do it and when anybody complains "wiki has x rong!!!11!!" and then don't even bother editing it or asking about it
on the wiki.

Generally half of the game's idea of beginner is severely outdated and most of the functions of anything "older" than renovation have been blown completely out of the water.

Going to black dragon/white dragon or in a boss where prot shear is a viable thing to do.
And ending up shearing it as an elf because none of the people with maximum final hit reforges are willing to do it. Its not like I have much else other than ninja to use this piece of garbage on.
You don't even need reforges to shear. A standard duration r1 on a shock brio does the job just fine. Do you ask out loud for a human to do it? I would if I were there.

People come up with their
own research that doesn't seem to include modding and shit.

Since copy-pasting or locating the work that Infodude has graciously done is 2difficult4everybody, I have edited the page as I have spare time while waiting for classes, and have added info to the summary that should have been there a long time ago.
How the hell does it take months and many discussions to finally edit the Final Shot page?

cus few people play elves as a main, and even fewer as an elf archer? i main elf, but my dex is almost as bad as my str atm, range is ok, but its main points that havent been taken by other weapons are its long range and maybe its wound rate(which with enough stats can basically be ignored,, not many mobs would survive long enough for this to even matter these days)

I found something that bother me although it's not really related to Mabinogi.
When some people think you should play Vindictus because it have "connections" to Mabinogi... I was like 'pffft you don't even need Vindictus to understand Mabinogi'...
Not to mention, some staffs for Vindictus said it from somewhere that Vindictus are not even 10% canon to Mabinogi.

It doesn't take more than a few seconds to copypaste information graciously provided by the KR testers. I'm not an elf, I don't even have Final Shot, but non-Final Shot users can still contribute with information given.

Legatus talks about the original five heroes, and even names the first two. Picture that in mind and you can sort of see how they're sort of related. Otherwise everything else is just same terminology, Erinn, Cichol and all.

That's just about it literally though. Its not even 10% relevant to Mabinogi except for maybe season 1 now.

Race-specific lag. Dunno if it's just my elf, but he seems to have more lag than ANY of my characters...especially regarding archery.

The way grandmaster quests work. You get one point for fighting several waves of guys roughly on a level of elite bosses and the same one point for killing... 30 imps.

way better off in SMs. I've never seen ANY page off of Scathach mobs, and I've made millions of ducks from their other drops.

It might be less time and effort to just get seals from the seal shop to force-rank the skill from N to F.
