Hello! so i currently reside in Ruairi and i was thinking of switching to a more populated area like Alexina or so i herd. I was just wondering if anyone knows the pros and cons of Alexina. In ruairi i feel as if it kinda died out? i get bored and lonely D: the community feels so individual like they already have their own group and it seems only ch1 has the most but even then its mainly merchants and trade. im not saying i hate ruairi i mean less population means easier to kill monsters and stuff but i like to socialize here and there and enjoy the community and stuff. so if anyone could help me that would be great! again im not trying to open any hate or debate just really trying to get back into the game after being absent for 3yrs. please and thank you~

I think Mari is a pretty cool server. Eh has a decent community and doesn’t afraid of anything.

Also, on a more serious note, if you want to play with a fellow player who's been away from the game for awhile, you can add me and I'll be down.

This is gunna end up in a debate sooner or later... I'll give you my two cents on servers. Personally I like to pick servers with the most people.
More people = More items, more help, more community (good or bad), more stupidity
Of course that's how I personally prefer it. There isn't really a "best" server but I don't really see much point in this question... If you want community and "stuff" wouldnt the best server for you be the one with the most people?
All the servers are old enough so they have enough people who are leveled and can help you. It really only comes down to whatever you decide.

Pros: More active in terms of raids, meaning you actually have a chance of getting good gear. Also, more socialization and the prices for items tend to be friendly.
Cons: More dumbasses thanks to the bigger pool of active players. Also, looking at your name, I'm assuming you're Korean. I'm one myself too, and I'm just gonna say this: I'm not really fond of many of the Koreans in Alexina, I think they're pretty weird people. Of course, there are exceptions. Not gonna say any names.
If you do choose Alexina, just don't lurk around the south side of dunby, that's where the duelist dumbasses are.
If you're looking to get goods from trading, Alexina might be better for this than other servers.

I heard that Alexina actually have raids because the larger population. You should definitely go to servers with the largest population. Even if you don't like to interact with people, it is good for your character development later on.

yeah pretty much. much easier to reach endgame on alexina than it would be in a deserted server lol

Mari PD, DD, and RD raids are swarmed on Mari. The amount of raging at how fast people are killing them is pretty high. I regularly go to Mari raids and we usually finish the dragons on all seven channels in 30-45 minutes.

How about WD and BD? Because those two are arguably the most rewarding raids, and if they're not done on a regular basis, probably not a good idea to go for the servers than don't do them.

I've been playing on Alexina since Elves/Giants came out, and..
I can say that it certainly is populated, especially with the most recent updates that have made shops free and supported new players. Whether you feel a larger population is better is up to you, haha. Sometimes that includes more friends, and sometimes it includes more pains.
But I will also say that people do still have circles, and it's not like a friendly free-for-all with new faces. Also, I hear that prices in Alexina are a lot higher than other servers (I can't actually confirm this, but it's a point to consider if you play the economy game). I think that if you're really up to it you should definitely make a new character on Alexina. I wouldn't recommend completely restarting at first, since the grass might not be as green on the other side, but if you wanted to spend a week or two on an alternate account (or even on a new character for your current account), you could get the feel of the server and then make a more permanent decision later.

I and many others can confirm that this is not the case. In fact, it's the other way around.

I would definitely choose more populated servers. You get to talk to more people and enjoy other contents that require other players to involve. If you are into raids, Alexina would be better choice for you.

This is not true, because there are things that are extremely expensive compared to other servers, especially when the demand for a scarce item is high.
An example would be Adv Succubus Boots. In other servers, I have seen them go for around 7m. On Alexina, they've gone up to the peak price of 20m before. Huge difference. (They're still expensive right now, actually.)
It is true, however, for things that aren't scarce or mildly uncommon.[/FONT]
