It is pretty annoying, especially when you see certain evg guild noobs spamming it.... With helmets on.
Who zooms in close enough to see emotes anyways?

No it isn't, lmao. Stand next to the bank or next to the healers on Tarlach for a minute and I guarantee you'll see it at least ten times.
A lot people use it to talk trash and then "cover it up", like you said.

I don't think it's just an 'alexina thing'. I've seen it on Mari, too. Seeing all those dots gets annoying sometimes...

Wait, you're whining about people using a feature built into the game? What's next: Whining about people doing the dance emote or playing dead?

Since people are using it in a stupid way, it gets annoying. And that's why we're talking about it.
If people played dead or do dance emotes in the say way, I'd be annoyed just as much.

It is annoying. I always zoomed out, and rarely see a face, just those dots
I'm ok with emotes, but they should be coupled with smiles like in RO

Nope, I usually have names/titles turned off.

FFXI player? I hate ffxi/ffxiv chat, it's quickly get cluttered with other people conversations. Why they wont make speech bubbles, NPC can use them but ppl CAN'T D:
I use chat log only to find what I missed and keep an eye on trade announcements. also guild chat

Nah, but names and speech bubbles potentially block crucial info when I'm in combat so I often just leave it off. No troubles of losing conversations due to "..."s either nor do I give a damn in the first place.

A) Not an Alexina only thing. God, get over your server people, it isn't the only one in the world.
B) They aren't "..."s they are EMOTES that change your face. People spam them to keep the face on longer. That's it.

The fact that you said that means you don't even know what this thread is talking about. You get over the preconceived notion that led you to believe we're full of ourselves for picking a certain server on a video game.
Xeno, please.
