I think Apple reached their peak, unless they actually innovate something they're going to stagnate, much like microsoft.

Google may be going a smidgen too crazy. Then again they also have some of the most brilliant minds working for them due to their open environment.

Then that's good for you, just keep in mind apple has pretty much been following the exact same pattern for the past few years.
They release a new iphone, new ipad, refresh their macbooks and mac pros every now and then.
But there's nothing new. They have brilliant [S]brainwashing[/S]marketing to try and make you think otherwise (mainly by calling everything they do revolutionary or innovative), but at the end of the day all they did was make the iphone a bit better than the previous one.

They might. We don't know yet.
I would not buy into Apple right now though. Their value is exceedingly high due to a few years of success, and the marketplace is changing while there product line isn't.
It's a recipe for disaster- a company rides its shiny train right into a wreck because they got cocky with success and didn't keep up with the marketplace.
Microsoft made the same mistake, and so have countless others.
At the moment my high hopes in stocks are on a penny stock called CERP. They make bioplastics, and have been doing a lot of R&D. Apparently effective January 1 2014, portions of europe have implemented a tax on non-biodegradable plastic bags. That's huge news for CERP, as their market is going to expand to meet the need for biodegradable plastic bags.
