G10 Final Help & Life Drain Glitch?

  Hey guys can someone tell me if I'm doing something wrong for the final boss? I can't get to the second part for some reason..every time I try to life drain it, a message pops up saying "You don't have enough crystals" but I do which are the Dark Life Drain Crystals in my inv (only crystals in my inv btw).
  I'm following everything wiki says. I take some damage from from the doppelganger to lower my hp then when it finally taunts I use the music box, it receives pain, then I try to life drain it but I get that message saying "You don't have enough crystals". Could it be a glitch? My Life Drain rank is novice. And when I try to use the skill (with regular life drain crystals) on monsters outside the shadow mission the same message from before pops up again so I'm unable to advance Life Drain to rank F. :/ Any ideas? My next idea is to reinstall the game because I don't know what to do.

  You need to buy wind, fire, clay and water crystals beforehand and take them inside in order to use life drain. It's been glitched since the crystal change.

  That's what it was referred to pre-patch. It's not actually called that, only called such name because it used dark life drain crystal, which is useless now.
