Would this be a good gaming PC for me?

Hello people, I've been looking for a good affordable gaming PC because apparently my PC isn't really that great for gaming. Well, I am not a computer person at all, I don't really know anything about graphics cards or all that fancy stuff.

So I've been looking online and I found this on ebay..

I only plan on running Mabinogi, LoL, WoW, and Facebook and what not :)

That's pretty terrible. Modern integrated graphics cards are better than the dedicated card in that computer.

Post your budget and maybe someone can recommend something decent.

I wouldn't recommend buying that at all. The graphics card is pretty much the lowest end in the GT600 series which will become obsolete really quickly. If you do buy it, you'll feel like you'll want to buy a new computer which uses up even more money.

And considering they're saying if you buy it today you get an upgrade to the graphics card to an AMD HD5450 and it's 2 times faster... that card is 4 years old so yeaaah probably not a great investment in money.

Have you ever considered buying parts and building your own PC? I admit myself that I was kinda put off building my own PC cause of not knowing what things are and stuff (and breaking things). But you'll save yourself looots of money and it really is like Lego! Just put pieces together and bam, got yourself a really good PC for your money.

TL;DR
-You shouldn't buy that
-Maybe look into building own PC (lots of benefits!)
-Look for another computer to buy and post it here
-What's an amount of money you're willing to spend?

Building your own PC is by far the most cost effective option, however, I'd say it's a bit more involved than Legos. Sure, once you get the hang of it it's not so bad.

With that said, I moved to a new place and had no PC for like 2 weeks (long story) so I really didn't have the time to get parts and all that.

I have no desire to build a PC even though its more efficient. I'm too scared to F anything up.

To be honest, it's a half-assed customization on my part since I don't have time atm to mess with this, but it's still a better buy than the other ones. A neat bonus is that the motherboard has built in wireless, so you don't need to buy a separate card if you ever need to connect it wirelessly. Maybe someone else can suggest a better one or find a site that has a better deal.
You can downgrade the CPU one step to save $20 and still get a decent performing system for your basic needs, but I'd stick with the more powerful option.

Not really. Just need to make sure to put those isolating thingies between mainboard and case before screwing it on. I almost messed my PC up this way. Aside of that it's easy peasy, I mean you can't really stick anything in the wrong places. But it takes a while if you choose to do some cable management.

Regarding Nvidia cards per se this paragraph that I just picked up somewhere else may interest you.

The stronger card is going to be the 550Ti 10/10. The Nvidia cards with 2nd numbers in a series that are 1, 2, 3, or even 4 are meant as home theater cards and will not be worthwhile unless those are the only things you are trying to accomplish. I would say the 7770 is the best value as well.

It's a year old though so don't take the suggestions for the 7770 or the 550Ti too seriously.
