"Fucked-up" is a very relative (and subjective) thing when it comes to politicians. They're actually pretty decent, comparatively speaking.
We do have a funny mayor in Toronto, but that's about the only one who stands out.
If anything, Canada has the "problem" of having very boring politics.
Permanent water chlorination when it wasn't necessary counts as "fucked-up politicians" enough for me. It wasn't bad enough when it was temporary, and then some schmuck decided to make it permanent. There went our famous water quality. Good job BC politics. Good. Fucking. Job.
Yeah, that and that mayor asides, Canada's politics are quite mild, contrary to the climate. Yeesh.
