We're now officially mobile, trying out the Tapatalk service.
It's pretty much an app that transforms the forum content into a mobile-friendly format. I'm still getting used to it but it seems to work decent.
All you need to do:
1) Find the "Tapatalk" app in the app store for your device. It's on osx and android for certain, good luck to the rest of you.
2) open up the app and either register with it to be able to save your settings, or just do a search for mabination.
3) sign into mabination with the same credentials you always use, and have fun. Navigation is not the same at all, you just need to get used to it.

Well a solution is a solution. It's quick and dirty and makes splat happy more or less so that's good enough for me :thumb:

The last time I checked this thing out it wasn't free and wasn't even very good to be worth the money.
Now it's 100% free and seems decent, I only have 2 issues with it:
1) the emoticons are fucking atrocious and doesn't seem to let you use the mabination ones. Also detects emoticon text in posts and converts it to their shitty emoticons.
2) they randomly shove ads into posts and I have no control over it, and I don't want people to be getting ads that I don't know the source of while browsing my websites... might have malware or crap like that.

well that's what you get when you use Free Apps. Ads, ads and more ads. The ads might actually make me want to just use Chrome on my mobile device.

Did you have it enable Push Notifications? If you did, that was probably one of the biggest mistakes you could have made :/
If it becomes a problem I would suggest resetting your iPod. Good thing about resetting iOS devices is that thanks to iTunes and regular backups you can easily get it back to the way you had it before you dun goofed.
I didn't really run into any ads or issues in the short time I played around with it. Are you using a newer or older version of iOS, I'm using iOS7.

Settings > Notification Center > Scroll down to Tapatalk > Select None for Alert Style and turn off Badge App Icon, Sounds.
If you want to be extra safe turn off show in notification center and show on lock screen.

Chrome browser or built in phone browser works fine enough for me. Cept it makes the text of some posts way big lol.

Android browser has always been fine for me. Perhaps because mine is a tablet.
