  I hear the same. I'm no TES fan, but ever since Skyrim came out all I hear is people talking shit about it compared to Oblivion aside from the absurd modding scene.

  A shame the TORtanic is the sequel. At least there are books about Revan and the Exile in the Unkown Regions afterward for more closure. I'd kill for them to make a new Kotor back even further in time during Exar Kun's and The Hyperspace War they talked about in the games.

  They're both amazing, but a lot of newer gamers might not have even been old enough to experience that glorious era of cartridges properly and remember it. PS2 is so well known for it's legendary library, SNES often gets eclipsed sadly even though it has a great library as well.

  But really, SNES, PS, PS2 are the 3 best libraries ever. Though NDS is probably #4. I think 1994 is the absolute latest you could have enjoyed SNES though, and frankly even my 1989 is a bit too late because if you wanted to play, say, CT or FF4, I'd have to have known I loved RPGs at around, 4 or 5.
  
  Also, actual opinion, FFX was the second best FF in the series behind FFVII (FFVII being #1 is actually a pretty unpopular opinion in its own right).
  FFX-2 is one of the better games in the series and is significantly better than any of the mainline FFs that came after it.

  Also the conker rerelease was nice, although i wish it kept the old multiplayer and SAVED STATS FOR OFFLINE USE.

  Last Sonic game I played was Sonic Adventure. I should try looking again for a post-Sonic Adventure game worth playing. lol
  
  Sonic 3/Sonic and Knuckles is still my favorite. And I used to play the crap out of Sonic 2.

  Snowie is probably Sonic-obsessed. Others are furry, she is a sonny. Probably reprocessing a traumatic childhood experience where a beloved one ran away from her and she tried to go faster but never caught up. Gotta go faster!, her mind tells her. So she plays Sonic.

  Sonic Heroes and Sonic Adventure was something I enjoyed in the 3D Sonic scene before I began to hear about all the hate for the Sonic series online. I still prefer the 2D platformers though, I pop open my Sega Genesis emulator to play Sonic 3/Knuckles sometimes.

  Because it wasn't Perfect Dark in HD. No game was going to live up to the game that essentially took Goldeneye, which is one of the greatest FPS games of ALL TIME, and made it better.

  FFVII fanboying/fangirling died out in like 2007. Granted, it actually is the best of the series but not for the reasons the fangirls/fanboys think, and thus it made everyone hate the series.

  Arkham Origins was kind of a bummer. The first two games were more exciting, I guess the air is out of the gaming mechanics.
  
  Tomb Raider 2013 actually was really dumb and calling it Tomb Raider is a joke. Even though I bought it at a steep discount, I am overall disappointed I got it because of the horribly trivial corridor shooter that was the second half of the game. It was really cool and Tomb Raider-ish up to the mountain village and the next few parts after that were good too, but it went to hell from the first time you arrived in that stupid junk-parts town. Also the new background story is incredibly stupid. "Whiney insecure girl finally grows some tits, and of course thanks to the figurative supporting shoulders of a handsome man. Oh and also there's Jar Jar Binks but with the twist that he's a self-obsessed diva and actually successfully studied a difficult field despite being a blatant moron". Fucking soap opera trash story.
