Halo 1 & 2 came to PC, and 3 is on the Steam database registy along with the previous games in the series.

But I don't see see your analogy.
Halo is a Microsoft exclusive and Bungie had to release the games on whatever platform Microsoft told them to because it was apart of their contract since Microsoft owns Halo.

Bungie is no longer affiliated Microsoft and Activision, a company who doesn't pick between which consoles their develeopers want to release their game on is the publisher. Call of Duty is an example.

Bungie knows that PC gamers want this, and they said Destiny will probably come to PC later, but as of right now since they're already have their hands tied developing the games on 4 consoles. Since the current gen consoles have x86 architecture it shouldn't be as much of a hassle like it was with the previous generation. They'll probably start working on it when they updates have slowed down.

Silly me, I just blindly believed him and never checked myself. Anyways, I'm probably just going to play Destiny on a console. Hopefully a next-gen console.

Some sites like Kotaku were saying it'd never come on PC despite every other site quoting the developer.
The PC release won't be near the console's launch that's for sure. I wouldn't be surprised if it was 8+ months after the console versions since the game seems massive.

I am getting a PS4 but I would prefer to upgrade my desktop. I'll just see how everything goes.

Yay crafting feature :3 apparently games I can craft in I enjoy the most .-. I'll just sit there and craft stuff all day even if I don't need the end result

I kind of want this but since it won't be on pc that kind of ruins it for me since that most definately means to play it you have to pay for xbox live or ps4 live. eh.. im sad now. They don't don't want this on pc because of those reasons also..

This is just silly they don't gain anything from people buying Xbox Live / Playstion Plus subscriptions.
And even if in someway they got money for something they don't control (subscription cards) then why are they releasing it on the PS3? Remember it has free multiplayer.

They're working on 2 different architectures, and 4 different pieces of hardware. It's not an easy thing to do, especially.

Now let's add PCs into the picture, which uses the x86 architecture the same as the PS4/Xbone, but there are about a a hundred of hardware possibilities going by just the recent hardware alone. What if the games does better with a certain company hardware as opposed to their rivals even though the rivals equivalent should perform just as good?

Crysis 2 and Rage are two games that favors Nvidia GPUs over AMD's. And it's even a PC only thing, there are also console games that play better on 360 opposed to PS3 Bayonetta and Bethesda games are just examples, let's not forget Sony had to step in and help Bethesda bring Skyrim DLCs to the PS3 because they were having a difficult time.. Now let's take into consideration that Destiny is also MMO that is supposed to have a 10 year life cycle. WoW wouldn't have as many players if it nice with certain hardware.

Rushed games of any kind are not liked, especially PC games as they usually bring performance issues games like X: Rebirth being the most recent one.

Honestly I wouldn't bother trying their game even if they release it on PC. So your saying also making a decent PC port while doing consoles is far to much for bungie? I mean.. possibly? Though I don't really believe that.

I mean these AAA companies get payed just to hold off games on a certain console. Microsoft may have payed off bungie for this. Its now this far into development and they haven't said a thing. I mean they already opened preorders. They are already making tons of money off just the box art and title and a couple of teases, they sure have 0 problem doing that.

I just don't believe Bungie can't handle a pc port.

I don't know what your getting at with your "hardware possibilities" point but wouldn't the best peformance for it be the pc? Not the ps4 or xbox. I mean both of those systems still have to sacrifice either 60 frames for good graphics and only get to 30 or sacrifice the resolution. Ps4 is barely able to do both.

Working at four different platforms is already a difficult task, and it's meant to be an MMO, not a 9 hour game like most multi-platform releases, and like MMOs they going to require feedback on bugs, glitches, exploits, and add more content. Not only that but

What are you talking about? Microsoft isn't involved in the development at all, and Bungie has already said Destiny is going to be released on September 9th across all consoles. Honestly man, do some research a simple google result would of told you this.

Are you new to video games? Not giving much information until near the release date is normal, and yes it is normal to set pre-orders too.

It they decide to optimize it for PC yes. Not every game that is on PC the better version, some games have shit ports.
