Help with determinine dye hue...

I am trying to decide whether I should buy this dye from someone's shop because it looks close to my skin color, but I am not sure because I tried zooming in and grabbing the three pixels which should be the color dyed, and it seems two of them are really different in hue.
The lighter pixels are a yellow hue and the darker one is an orange hue, so I don't know if this will make clothes into my skin color or if it will end up being too yellow or bright?
I want to dye the leggings on my skirt outfit that are currently black.

The true color is gonna be the "top-left" of the three pixels you've bordered. You're actually off by one row with your red border, basically. If you just scootch it up one row (so that top-left pixel I mentioned just now becomes the bottom left pixel), you'll have your 3 matching pixels that show the dye's true color.

If you need a diagram:

1 is the true color, scoot your red border so that 1 becomes 3 and you've got the correct 3.

Ah I get it now. I guess I was doing it wrong because of it being offset like that. Thanks a lot! Now I see that the border is around the same colors now.
