  First of all, I don't hate humanity, I just sometime wonder if we as a specie deserve to live on, call it a self evaluation.
  
  Second, doing nothing is not stupid, doing nothing can sometime be the smartest thing a person can do, and I am not making this up, you don't always do what you wanted right? Sometime you wait, sometime you don't do things because of external circumstances... The key is to know when to act and when not to act. Now with that in mind, do you think I should act and try to kill the specie?
  
  Lastly that saying "if you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem." I don't agree with it at all. Much like "you are either with us or against us." It forces out options and pretend there are only two choices. If you want the official term "false dilemma". I mean think about it, if everything that's not a solution is the problem, then you need to solve everything other than the solution in order to resolve anything, does that make sense to you?

  I figured saying that species doesnt deserve to live equated to hatred. And considering you're response ( while most likely sarcastic) to my post saying to actually do something, is to say Im implying you should act and kill the species i think you missed the point. The point is that if youre "self evaluation" of humanity comes down to you doubting that it deserves to live, and saying you figure aliens will wipe it out (again, i realize the sarcasm), then act about it. Doing nothing in this case is stupid, try to act so you can get humanity to a point where it does deserve to live. The point I'm making with the saying is not meant to be taken literally in every situation, and youre obviously smart enough to get it in this case. So many people, especially online, feel that humanity is this horrible thing that doesnt deserve to live, and they post about it and complain about it, but they dont do anything. If all the people like this actually attempted to fix humanity they may accomplish something.

  I realize what you are saying, you are saying if I feel humanity is so horrible I should just do something about it. And believe it or not, I am. Going through school, learning sociology and conflict resolution I am trying to tackle some of the global problems from that angle.
  
  But here's something my PACS professor told me on the first day of class. He said "You can't change people, you can only change yourself." No matter what I do trying to improve the situation, there will always be people doing things I just can't agree with, and it just makes me wonder how did we as a specie get as far as we did when we all work against each other like this.
  
  I know in the post it comes off as really hateful, but I am really not.

  I think they stopped or altered the One Child Policy Act in China in November. Either way, in most Asian Countries labor is more or less plentiful, but pay is very low. It's like the opposite of the U.S. It's hard to make more than what you need to survive in those countries, much less raise a family and own a child even with both parents working full-time.
