For the cooking quests, you can only do one at a time.
If you have the one to make 5 dishes, as well as any of the other two, you could make 4 5-star dishes and they won't count, because they go towards the other quest first.
Similar to how when you try to obtain Mana Shield and Charge at the same time, one requires 30 Hobs, the other 10, you'd expect them to count at the same time, making you kill 30 but they don't, so you end up killing 40 with both quests at once.

I wouldn't be able to tell whether you finished a previous quest or not while you made that one.
Either way, how much close were you to perfecting the recipe? I think it might still fail if you're more than a certain % away from what it's supposed to be.

This event makes me feel stupid, why do I play music for a homestead ornament? The exp is too painfully miniscule to work for.
I mean, couldn't they at least let the dragon chase you around your homestead like a kitty cat, and let it roll over at your feet or something. Or at least let it make small baby-roars whenever you talk to it?

The tamed one will roll around at your feat or one of them will but it will still stay in place. I think there's like 3 different tamed ones, each with their own cute little animation sequence.
@Splat well I got nothing else, I gave you all the advice I can give. It works for everyone else so I don't really know what you're doing wrong only that you must be doing something wrong.

I'm pretty sure at the rate this is going, I won't be able to get 100 disposition by Feb 4. :( I'm only able to do like 2 of the daily quests, which only give 1 point each. I wish they'd give us something that's actually fun like Doki island instead.

Just tamed my dragon. You get a randomly colored tame dragon (I feel bad for people who dyed their wild ones) and a fixed dye. I haven't tried talking to it yet, still remaking it until i get a decent color.
Edit: Okay so I tried talking to it, and you get an option to do 1 of 4 quests: cook 5 dishes, cook a 5 star dish, transform into a dragon 5 times, and get 5 great playing successes. I tried the transforming quest, which gives 100k exp. You're only allowed to do 1 of the quests per day, not all 4. Based on Kingofrunes' information, I assume all 4 quests give the same thing; 100k exp.
Edit 2: You can get a new wild dragon after relogging. All dragon disposition quests that you had from the previous dragon will be deleted. You can not get them back for the day.

How when there are like 6 easy quests?

I consider all the quests to be easy :/
Then again I also have all the stuff for it and have no trouble getting 4 and 5 star dishes.
Then again cooking in mabinogi is one of my specialties.

I can't speak for everyone but "easy" and "worth the effort given the end reward" are different things, and relative to the person playing the game.
Knowing what I would get at the end of this event, you'd have to give me real money to spend another minute of my time doing it.

This is one thing I can agree on. For me I consider it easy and worth the effort given the end reward. Simply because I cannot resist or pass up on anything that is so flipping cute and adorable! It's like my greatest weakness.

I have a question. When it turns permanent, does it go back into our inventory as a kit or does the decoration itself change? I don't want to re-dye my tamed dragon all over again.
