cats seem to have this thing about bed making... I end up just trapping the cat under the blankets. They either get comfy and sleep or cry to come out.

So true. Except I usually leave the sheets hanging along the sides to hide the ugliness of the rollaway bed >.>
So she just manages to to push her way out when she wants to go elsewhere.

I don't get the infatuation of people with cats. :S I guess they can be nice, but mostly I find them annoying with their high-pitched [S]meowing[/S] shrieking and slowly walking in front of you in corridors making you decerase to snail speed if you don't want to crush them.

And that's just the tip of the iceburg.

It's supposedly a rollaway bed. My sister gave it to me when I moved to my apartment. Haven't really bought any furniture for myself except my computer chair.

Why? I have a lamp. 2 Lamps actually. One that I got for christmas.
Also a lamp is an appliance, not furniture.

My cat doesn't do that.
I also don't make the bed but that one time I did she didn't do anything.

If our tomcat ever gets in the way of important work to do he will be made clear that his intrusions are unwelcome, be it in a (usually) nice or naughty way. He usually gets it. He's also simply not around all the time because he can go out. That prevents a lot of problems.
