I dont really feel comfortable talking about politics but i was very disappointed at how Obama handled Syria conflict and his 'collaboration' with the congress. As far as I know Obama's approval rating atm isnt too good

I love our president and think he's doing a fabulous job and those backwoods inbred a that disagree can go shove a stick up their anus like good hillbillies
>obama
>doing a fabulous job
the guy is considerably to the right of like every post new deal president including reagan and both bushes
he makes nixon look like an actual socialist
the only reason he looks remotely reasonable is because of the batshit crazy tea party, otherwise the idea of cutting government spending and deficits in esssentially great depression 2.0 while keeping 88% of the Bush tax cuts and expanding overseas war would get him tarred and feathered

Look at it two ways
With congress, the title "president" has moot value, it's just a name-tag, nothing more, and the country is run by a bunch of the most corrupt 60+ year old fat men and women who make 7 digit salaries, who also happen to have grown up when nuns were locking kids in cages for saying god's name in vein.
Without it, it gives Obama's job some sort of meaning, instead of being a paperweight for a bunch of ignorant senators who were born in the stone age.

It's not that simple.
Nothing ever is.

It's funny because that's pretty much how the universe is ran according to Hitchhiker's guide to galaxy.

The only reason Obama seems to be a failure is that Congress is useless and cockblocks everything he proposes. He is an intelligent man, not someone who bought their way into famous schools. His attitude towards his second term seems to be "eh, I'll try this again, what can I lose? It's not like I haven't tried in my first term"
Also, majority of republicans are idiots. That's a fact, ladies and gentlemen, not an opinion.

That is not the only reason he's failed. He is an intelligent man, but he's a horrible president. Good presidents are able to build ties and bring the two sides together to make progress on the most important issues. He's never bothered to do this; he's proudly stated since his early days in office that he won't skip dinner with his family to have a political networking dinner instead, among other things. And that's without even going into the political blunders he's committed.
The majority of republicans are not idiots. The radical minority is the problem (and even then, it's a subjective debate as to whether they're morally right or not), and so is the large portion of the American public who gives them power (along with the election laws that make this possible). And of course, there's a great deal of idiocy coming from the Democrats, as well. Take their leader, for instance:

Please refrain from making such broad statements without proper justification.
Your comment is like poking your head in a men's restroom and shouting that the majority of men stink.

Broad statements aside, they haven't done much to improve their overall image other than look like a bunch of uneducated old rednecks in suits.

lol one of the reasons i'm a registered independent is because i want no association with stuck up teenage "liberals" who are so incapable of making a decent argument that they resort to insulting everyone that disagrees with them.
absolutely pathetic, guys.

So you don't want to be associated with people who you think insult everyone who disagrees with them, and you show this by insulting those people because they disagree with you. Makes sense.
