So I'm curious guys, what are skills that need low CP and high time to rank? An example would be what I'm doing now: windmill. Arguably the most notable example. It seems to be the most notorious for having these requirements to be able to bearably rank it (otherwise I heard it takes years. Luckily I started with a TL of ~220 and my guild leader is nice enough to lend me his Marble armour temporarily).
So what are the other skills that take a very long time to rank and need a low CP? (basically meaning what other skills will I need to borrow Marble armour to level and need a week dedicated to it.)

The time it takes is subjective of course.. I can't really say that many skills take all that long if you have the AP to rank them then and there.. but hopefully this list helps a little. :3

What Osu said, but I think you have the right idea. Windmill's probably the most important skill to rank first.
Or refining if you want the max possible dex(requires failures so you need low dex at higher ranks)... but it's a pain and not necessary unless you really really need the dex. It's not CP-related, though.

I did skip over this since it was already mentioned it's in the works, but yes. Everyone here will stress this to you, that is the most important skill to rank first when considering CP. xD You can already see how long it takes, I'm sure. xP

Time meaning anything that would take literally a good week or two to rank 1 from like rank D or whatever... :/ I'm basically thinking about knocking all those "YOU MUST RANK FIRST" skills before I progress onto the other stuff, but what are those other skills besides WM?

That's great, because without titles or Persona's, I have a monstrous 49 dex. Which I dont think is very high!

You really shouldn't worry about cp. Cp gears are easy to get, and there are missions like OA where mobs with high cp with low hp appear.

Pretty much this. Majority of the people fall under this category. Should just relax, and don't worry about it too much.
Unless you are the person walking around with like 4k+ cp trying to rank some skills (or master some skills).

Alright thanks, I'm just worried about building my character properly since I know one mess up at early levels can increase the time investment needed exponentially at higher levels :/ So I just wanna know what skills to knock out before i can just sit back and relax and do whatever I want without having to worry about needing to take forever to rank a skill

Also, if you're still training windmill, Enemy Behind is an excellent mission to train "finish multiple powerful enemies" because it gives you small groups of enemies at a manageable pace. Set party rules to "anyone to finish" and heap the mobs (kill, minus the finish) that spawn in offering circles/orbs together (smash/magnum is helpful for further placement) then windmill if when you have a stack of 4. The Warriors have higher CP than the lancers/bowmen that spawn (I believe) but you can still train the req for "powerful" enemies if at least one mob has the correct CP level. Of course, you can change the mission level to your relative CP needs - I think my lvl 1xxx elven ranger had the warriors as "powerful" on only INT difficulty.

Thanks for the tip, though I'm actually finishing up WM ^^ I already have the requirements for r2, just gotta get up 19 lvls (to get to cumulative 299), rebirth, the do rabbie normal (good for my multiple enemy kills), and kill white wolfs with marble armour (boss level enemies), then get enough AP to get to r1!

I've got 1,800 CP, and CP-related combat skills aren't hard. I picked up some -400 CP armor (Marble) from housing personally, but even without it, shadow missions and their varying difficulties give crap-tons of high-CP monsters. And then there's the Saga monsters, like the liches in episode 2 that can generally be one-shotted but show up as boss for me and spawn like 8 at a time...
CP in Mabi is not nearly the issue it was a few years ago, thankfully.

I actually got r1 Windmill a few days ago so thats no longer an issue. Though I thought I'd do refining next but its deadly; far worse than windmill. So I'm ranking Smash instead.
