So I recently started to commerce and I was wondering what were the best places to trade from. I do tir to tail and tail to tir. It works but I feel as if there is a better way to get ducats. Any help is appreciated.

Going between Emain and Tail is pretty good if your windmill is good enough to get you through osna snail

General tips:
- Get the top two mounts as soon as you can, or at least the wagon.
- If you can't handle a certain tier of bandits, keep your investment amount lower than when they usually spawn.
- Windmill is lovely, use it and any other AoE skills you have and stay close to your mount so that you can knock away bandits trying to steal goods as well as the two bandits that have aggro'd you.
- It's helpful to have some sort of ranged attack to get archers/imps to run at you to use their weak melee rather than their annoying ranged attacks - I am unsure if lightning bolt (probably the easiest to get) will get their AI to change to a melee attack.
- Sand burst to get the bandit boss aggro off of you (???)
- Song and overture will help get back a fair bit of the damage penalty you receive when under commerce status.
Trips I usually make:

Bangor > Tail, Tir, or Cobh (depending on the profit margins, usually carrying lead or topaz)
Tail> Dunby, Cobh, or Tir (the fire crystals can net you 8k in the short run to Dunby if you have an elephant)
Tir> Dunby/Cobh (usually only when either of the first two potions are 6-7^ or the limited good is in stock)
Cobh > Tail

Probably the grandmaster of commerce skill/equipment set:
- Level 15+ commerce speed reforged outfit
- Mana shield with a efficiency glove
- Puppets, alchemy, or gunner
- GM bard for r1 lullaby and overture (1 min sleep on the entire bandit ambush + get back a decent bit of the damage penalty you have during commerce.)

I have the elephant and horse, I'm in the process of trying to get the commerce outfit and i can handle any bandits(master puppeteer). I just want to be able to make some quick ducats lol

If you can't handle stronger bandits and don't know how much of something to take, but have the horse mount, then this is some advice for what I've been doing:

1. With the backpack, fill up with whatever you want to take(best to take things to wherever has the highest number in red).
2. Don't buy yet.
3. Switch to the horse cart, and with the same amount of stuff the backpack could carry, buy that same amount of stuff for your horse cart.

Then your bandits should be easy, though you can't make too many ducats in a single trip this way. It's just good for if you can't handle hard bandits but want the extra speed from the horse. I do it for the commerce dailies if my strong friend isn't online to escort me.

I see. Well, you could try browsing housing for a pre-reforged outfit. I'm not familiar with Mari (your server) but on Ruairi I was able to find a lvl 16 Bassanio for 7.5m (probably a bit high price, but it was the only one listed on housing.) It really does make a huge difference.

If it's ducats you're after, make sure to rank commerce mastery and consider using the smuggler. The only downside to the smuggler (aside from it reducing your town merchant ratings) is that you'll either need to either have a life talent as your active life talent or have a friend/guildie tell you every in game day.

If your computer can handle it, split screen mabi with videos for increased (perceived) ducat raking speed.

I believe this is first time per real life day, yes.
