they don't work 8 hour days. they work 6 hour days.
6 days a week 6 hours a day. 36 hour weeks. Kinda sucks if you ask me.
some maintenance employees work multiple stations because it's lax.

6days 6hours seems okay to me. Not much of a weekend, but with such a schedule it's not like you really need one.
Office can be a very frustrating position. I am currently working in one as part of my apprenticeship, and evne with cleaning both office rooms relatively thoroughly, using the first hour of the day to help out somewhere else and writing training accounts I have enough time to look up recipes and browse my GW2 guild site. Even the boss does it. Sucks when you have to stay around to serve guests scheduled to arrive. Can't even leave work because it's so far away you can just turn around when you got home with your car. If you use PT instead of a car you're even more out of luck because they only pass our place once every hour.
