Agreed for the most part, but a party with multiple fire alches can be devastating if you have a crisis'er or your in the middle room of SS.

I personally main Watercannon, but I do use Flameburst when the situation fits it the most.
My set is geared on water, but my Flames can still do around 2k per crit in elite mode.
For enchants, focus on ripples, then later on go for hybrid enchants like Boiling and Cowboy.
