  July 27, 2015: Renovation Archery ver 2 ~ updated Journal AP calculations and added a column for keeping track of deranked skills. Added colors to the stat columns for easier reading - thank you Zey for the idea!
  
  July 16, 2015: Version Renovation Archery ~ added Renovation close combat, magic and archery skills
  
  January 14, 2015: Version Crusader ~ added Crusader skills, fixed an error on the human page with the AP to Cap and Goal AP totals
  
  
  
  You can hide columns you don't use by selecting the column label (AH, AI, AJ, etc), left clicking and selecting Hide Columns.
  
  
  
  To use, select the file, click the square-with-arrow "Pop-out" icon in the upper right corner, go to the File menu that's underneath where it says "Mabi skills", and select "Make a copy" (must be signed into Google) or "Download as". If you download it, you will need a spreadsheet program on your computer such as Excel or the free LibreOffice in order to open it. The formatting may look a bit odd if you download it.
  
  Once you've downloaded it or copied it to your Google Drive, select the appropriate race sheet/page (bottom left corner) and then fill out the yellow cells. They have drop down selections but for the skill ranks it's faster to just type them in.
  
  
  This spreadsheet will:
  Calculate total AP used
  Calculate CP
  Calculate AP cost per stat for remaining ranks and next rank for all skills
  Calculate AP to cap stats (skill only, not including any extra for capping talent bonus)
  Calculate AP to reach goal
  Calculate total available stats from unranked skills and talents
  Calculate journal AP bonus
  
  
  
  The data for this spreadsheet came from Mabinogi World Wiki and Mabination forums.
  This spreadsheet can be freely distributed and modified. Credit is appreciated, but not required.

  Same I never realized how it all adds up, I'm at 5.3k but I've used about 11.1k ap. This tool is pretty insightful, I'll be using it again in the future! :D

  I'm surprised so many people needed this calculator to realize just how big an impact non-leveling AP has had on this game for the past year or two, even if you don't factor in DR/3x/Event AP. With the exception of AP multiplier events I'm a freebirther, and my goal is usually 122/30 minimum for a solid 150 level-based AP. In addition to that, I can expect 6 AP from aging in a single rb cycle, 63 AP from Shadow Mission dailies during those three weeks, 52.5 AP from saga dailies, and anywhere from 6.3 (likely) to 21 (highly unrealistic) AP from dungeon dailies. The non-level AP amounts to anywhere between 127.3 to 142 AP, bringing my expectations each rebirth to at least 277.8. Non-level AP makes up roughly 46% of my AP goal every three weeks if I don't slack off and fail to meet my quota. Otherwise, it starts to provide a larger contribution.
  
  Most freebirthers aim for anywhere between 80-100 base /20-25 exploration. Even if they met those goals and only did the dailies that give AP coupons, the non-leveling AP would account for at least half of their AP gain each rebirth.
  
  Give or take a rebirth, assuming 100% freebirths and no unexpected or one-time AP sources, I can expect as low as 4722.6 to as much as 5000.4 AP in a single year. I remember when the most I could hope for from freebirthing with a reasonable quota (which used to be considerably lower before the base exp curve revamp and the exploration uncap) was just over 2k AP a year, with paid rebirthers pulling in only slightly more than what I do now. And they'll be uncapping exploration again with a revamp soon...
  
  Now add in events/DR/3x/generation AP/in-game AP quests/the potential upcoming talent AP and it gets crazy.
  
  It started to get so ridiculous that I got curious awhile back how much of my spent AP came from levels and how much of it came from other sources and, at present, with my base being 8153 and my exploration level at 1741, while accounting for rebirths (subtracting 156 from that total because I've rebirthed 78 times at this point, and you get no AP for base and exploration level 1), even with those totals combined (9738) I've gotten to a point where my non-level AP accounts for most of my AP gain. I have currently spent 19384 AP and have 1142 unspent AP which I'll be spending once the 3x weekends are over (by then it will be at least 2.2k).
  
  Even if I factor in the potential AP costs of the upcoming Treasure Hunter skills (but not the ninja skillset or any future skills we don't know about yet), I expect to have all skills capped at r1 in less than a year. My (mostly) freebirthing pipe dream is rapidly becoming a reality. And Fall is the season of AP, so...

  The easy thing to do would be to copy and paste the skill ranks.
  
  I think it would also work to copy whichever page(s) you're using (Human, Elf, Giant) to the new spreadsheet, then copy & paste the new skills from the newer version of that page to the copied version, and then add a new line in the Talent section for Ninja and copy the formulas down from the line above it. But that's more work than copy-paste and would only work because I didn't make any major changes to the formulas between the Culinary version and this one.
  
  That is one of the drawbacks to using a spreadsheet instead of making a program/app/website.

  Also... when weekend 7 of Ultimate Anime Summer comes along and gives a stat increasing potion via sunday's hot time, would it be fine to just rename the '2013 Holiday Hide & Seek' field in Other Stat Rewards to 'Stat Increasing Potions' or so, presuming the potions are the same?

  To fix it,
  Select all of the yellow Talent cells
  Go to Data->Validation
  Change the Criteria to Talents!B5:B20 (Is yours using Talents!D5:D20 ?)
  Change 'On Invalid Data' to Show Warning (in case the above doesn't work for some reason)
  Hit Save
  
  
  Renaming the '2013 Holiday Hide & Seek' field will work fine - that's what I was planning on doing for the next version. For renaming anything else, use Edit->Find and Replace and make sure All Sheets is selected.

  I had issues with copy-pasting the talents, so I just selected those manually since I wasn't sure what had gone up anyways.
