General 3DS Friend Code Thread

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. You can not register, post or otherwise interact with the site other than browsing the content for historical purposes. The game will have letters next to the name to correspond to the game they have. Simply use ctrl + f to search!
If you want other games to be listed on here, throw me a message and I'll get to it when I can!

MONSTER HUNTER ULTIMATE 4 Will have a [MH4] next to the name.

Pokemon X and Y Will Have a [XY] next to the name!

- uses friend codes to access Safaris where you can find various types of Pokemon not in the "main" game itself!

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will have a [ORAS] next to the name!

Super Smash Brothers will have a [SB] next to the name!

Bravely Default Will have a [BD] next to the name!

- uses friend codes ingame to access a game mechanic called "Abilink! The ability allows one to pair up their characters with another person which leads to an increase in job class lvls so long as the pairing is active!

Fantasy Life 3DS Will have [FL] next to the name!

Fantasy Life's online multiplayer mode allows you to explore and battle cooperatively with up to 2 friends at a time!

Multiplayer tips:
- Activate 'Link Mode' with your friends! (Link > Friends > Options > Friend Settings)
- With 'Link Mode' enabled, you'll be able to interact with friends, be notified of their online status, and 'Applaud' their accomplishments!
- A maximum of three people can play together in the same world at one time.
- If you have downloaded the Expansion Pack (DLC), multiplayer will only be possible with others who have it.
- If you do not have the Expansion Pack (DLC), multiplayer will only be possible with others who do not have it.
- During battles, revive your fallen allies by pressing the 'A' button. 'Life Cure' will not be consumed with this action.
- The amount of items within a 'Bounty' will match the number of players in the world (e.g. If there are three players, 'Bounty' content will amount to three!).
- There is an 'Exchange Box' in Castele Guild Office for trading items between players. You can't trade 'Dosh'. You can however, trade items of equivalent value to compensate for 'Dosh' (e.g. Sack of Copper, Silver, Gold, or Treasures).
- For some, the multiplayer 'Chat feature' may take a while to get used to. This is when 'Short Messages' will come in handy! (Menu > Options > Edit Short Messages)

I know there is an Animal Crossing thread with friend codes, once I get on my computer I can find it for you. So that way you can add a/an (AC) tag or (AC:NL)
